Chapter 8

I was laying down on Harumin's bed as I think about the forceful kiss I did to Mei.
I move side to side panicking.
'I can't believe I did that!! Now how am I going to face her!!'
I stopped panicking looking out the window.
"What....have you done to me....Mei?"

I then heard a knock and Harumin came in.
"Yuzuchi, after everything you told me on what happened....I think you should go home tomorrow and talk to Mei." Harumin said, while putting her hand on my shoulder.

"I guess you're right about that...I can't run away from this.

Harumin invited me to the mall with her, so I tagged along. Though...I felt off.
'Why am I upset? Can't I get over this feeling?'

Once me and Harumin were getting stuff, I could tell she was looking at me weird.
We sat down in a small booth so we can take a break.

"Yuzuchi...you seem off.."Harumin said with a worried tone in her voice.
"I do....?" I responded back quickly.

"Yeah...you actually do seem off, what's bothering you now this time?" Harumin replied once again.

"I....I..." I start stuttering.
Then I felt tears....
'Is this the feeling of love...?'

"Yuzu....Hey! Don't cry, whatever it is this time. Mama Harumin will help you get through this!"
Harumin said as she got up and hugged me.

"Ha-Harumin...without you supporting me, I don't know what I've would've done." I said as I hugged Harumin back.
"Yuzu...I think it's time for you to go home and talk to Mei." Harumin said as she pulled away from the hug.
"I...think your right. I'll be taking my leave now! Thanks Harumin!"
I said as I got up and waved goodbye to her, while walking out the door.

'I guess I need to walk home now, I don't even know how I'm going to talk to her..'

As I got to the apartment, opened the door....nobody was here yet.

I sigh deeply  already feeling relieved.

"You came back home, I see."
Someone with a cold voice said, that I knew too well.

I finch and turn around.
"Yeah, I guess I did come back home." Scratching the back of my head.

As Mei walked past me, I grabbed her wrist.
"Hey wait..."
"What..." She said coldly making me shiver.
"Look...I'm sorry for what I did in the chairman's office, and after getting caught...it must've been embarrassing for you." I said.

I heard Mei sigh deeply.
"Look, it wasn't your fault that you kissed me forcefully." Mei said, as I look at her with wide eyes.
"What do you mean? It was!" I said protesting against her answer.
"It wasn't your fault because I dragged you into a corner with your feelings, so it was my fault." She said calmly.
"Now I have to go to grandfather's house to get a couple stuff, if I'm not here by 6:30 then tell mother to start dinner without me." As she started walking out.

"I guess so, see you later Mei." I said as I went to the kitchen.

"So Mei-Mei has someone....not for long....oh Mei-Mei watch me win your heart..."
