Chapter 16

All three of us were going in the ride, but Mei gave up on riding and watched me and Matsuri from a distance.
"Yuzu-chan~ what's this picture you took today?" Matsuri asked while she kept looking at my phone.
"Oh! Me and Mei came here early and I took a picture of us together before we took a ride." I said with pride in my voice.
"Oh..." Matsuri said, and looked down at Mei since her and Yuzu are on the farris wheel. Then Matsuri smirks slighty.
"Hey, Yuzu?" Matsuri asked.
"Hm? Yes Matsuri what is it?" I respond.
All of a sudden Matsuri gets up and walks up to me since we were on opposite side of the cart.
"Hey, Matsuri why are you getting closer?" I asked bit a nervous.
Then Matsuri hugs me and whispers in my ear.
"Yuzu-chan...you like Mei-san...don't you." Matsuri whispered in my ear.
"W- what? No? Why would you
th-think that?" I said nervously.

'Why am I stuttering!?'
I thought in my head.

"Can you love me the way you love Mei-san..." Matsuri said in my ear.
"Matsuri! What the hell!?" I yelled and pushed her away.
"Let's get out...I think I want to go home." I look down and then the ride stopped.
"But Yuzu-chan! I love you!" Matsuri said out loud, making others look at us.
"Matsuri...look I ca-" I was being cut off with a hug.
"Mei..."
"I think it's time we head home...right.." Mei said sternly.
"What do you have that I don't! You took my onee-chan away!" Matsuri said walking up to Mei pushing me away from her just so she can smack her.

SMACK

All that was heard was a smack and people's gasps.
"Yuzu..." Mei said.
"Yuzu...chan..." Matsuri said surprised what she did.
" Lets go Mei..." I said coldly, taking Mei's hand now walking out.
"Yuzu! Wait!" Mei said catching my attention.
"What..." I said with a cold tone yet again.

Mei holds both sides of my face carefully, looking at my red cheek.
"Why did you take the hit for me?"
Mei asked looking into my eyes, making me look away.
"Look into my eyes Yuzu..." Mei said, and I looked into her lavender eyes.
"Why did you take the hit..tell me."
"Because I want to protect you Mei..."
I see her eyes widdened, and this time I couldn't control my body.

I pushed Mei against a wall near an alleyway and held her close.
"Mei...I don't know what I'm feeling right now....but can I kiss you?" I said.

'I said it this time! Great! I'm so stupid!' I thought.

"Yes...you can..." My eyes widdened at Mei's answer but I didn't complain.
I leaned close to her lips.

"Mei..."

"Hm?"

"I think..."

"I fell for you"

I said before kissing her passionately holding her close to me.
