Chapter 14

I unlocked the door to the house and went in. Then I heard it close since Mei came in and shut it.
"Hey Mei what do you want for dinner?" I asked.
"Anything of your choice...the food will be good anyways." Mei replied
"Alright! The food will be done shortly." I said while going to the fridge to get ingredients out.

\\\\\\\\sometime later\\\\\\\\

"Mei! The foods ready." I said and went to take out the 2 plates for us.
"Go ahead and get as much as you want Mei." I said looking at Mei.
"I will in a little bit." She replied going into our room.

\\\\\\\\During Dinner\\\\\\\\

"Hey Mei, mother is coming back with father next Monday!" I said then put a scoop of food in my mouth.
"I'll be looking forward to the day they come back." Mei said looking down at her food and then ate.
"Well should we do a par-"

The doorbell rings

"Huh? Who could It be at this hour?"
I looked at Mei to see if she knew anybody coming over but she looked confused just as I am.
"I'm coming! Hold on!" I said once I heard it ring again.
I walked to the door and opened it. To my surprise the person standing in front of me was an old friend of mine.

"Ma-Matsuri?" I asked confusingly.
"That's no way to greet me Yuzu-chan~" Matsuri said and then looked next to me looking behind me.
"And I see you have a date..." she said a little low.
"oh! you got it all wrong! That's not my date...its my little sister." I replied very quickly so she wouldn't misunderstand.

' heh...as much as I could wish for, I wish it was a date.' I thought in my head but then went back to Matsuri asking a question.
"Yuzu-chan~ can we go to the arcade tomorrow, and go to karaoke?" Matsuri asked.
"Let me ask Mei if she wants to go."
I then turned to Mei and she nods like she already heard my question.
"Well I guess that makes 3 people, oh Wait! I'll invite Harumin as well if you don't mind." I said getting excited.
"I don't mind...I'll be leaving now, I'll see you tomorrow around 2?"
Matsuri asked and I nodded.
"Mhm! 2 o clock it is!" I said.
"Well goodbye onee-chan!" Matsuri said and I waved her off. Then I closed the door locking it, heading back to Mei at the dinner table.

"Sorry Mei that was an old friend of mine." I said putting my hands together bowing down slightly.
"Its fine...lets just finish our food."
Mei replied starting to eat again.
"Wait! Did you wait for me to come back so we could eat together?" I asked with an excited expression.
"What do you think? Now quit playing around and let's eat." Mei said sternly.
"Dang you can be stern while eating as well." I said and ate.

\\\\\\\\After Dinner\\\\\\\\

"Ah~ that was some good food I made." I said and lie back on the bed.
"Please don't take up the whole bed space Yuzu.." Mei said and went to the bathroom to do her stuff.
'I'm too lazy to move...I'll stay here a bit longer.' I thought.
"Yuzu please move to your side of the bed." Mei said with a tired voice.
"I'm too lazy to move.." I replied and stayed in the same spot.
"Fine..lets do it that way." Mei said.

' Wait what did she mean by that?'

Before I could say anything else I felt weight on top of me.
"Huh? Mei?"
"Shut up, and let me sleep Yuzu."
Mei said as she snuggled closer to me with her forehead on my shoulder.
I sigh and let it happened.
I realized what was going on and I blushed deeply.
"Goodnight M-Mei" I said stuttering.

'Shoot why am I stuttering!?'

"Goodnight Yuzu..." Mei said before dozing off.
I smile and thought.
'I wonder what the future will bring for us...'
Then I fell asleep afterwards.
