Faith is what you believe in. It's what defines most people. It's the root of the world for others. Only a select few think faith is something you are given. It's like a code you live by, when someone tests your faith you must show them they are not powerful enough to destroy your faith.

"Again." Lauren says. My arms are tired. My bruises have somewhat healed. The cream really helped a lot with the pain.

Lauren started training us a few days after the talk about kids. She thought the faster we learned the more efficient we would be. I thought differently, she really wasn't kidding when she said it wasn't going to be easy.

"Camila I said again." Lauren says again. I blink and begin climbing the tree. I have splinters in my arms but I'm determined to make it to the top. I've fallen so many times I stopped counting.

I feel my hands slipping. "I'm not going to make it." I say. I look down to see Lauren staring at me.

"You can if you try." She sassily. I roll my eyes.

I try to get my grip but can't. I fall again. Hitting my back on the ground. It's not as bad once you've done it some many times.

"Come on Camz. Everyone has climbed the tree and moved on. Why can't you?" Lauren squats down beside me. I huff out.

"I'm too weak. Maybe Lolo was right." Lauren seems to get angry.

"No! You're strong you just have to believe." She says.

"I'm trying okay. It's hard to believe in something when the world has ended." I roll into my sides.

"Do you believe in me?" Lauren ask.

"Of course." I reply back.

"There you go." I frown. "You have something to believe in." She stands up and walks away.

"Let's go you have more work." I hear her call out. Oh fucking hell.

"This is what I call War of Faith." Lauren says. "It's simple you chose a weapon, the weapon you chose is your faith." She explains.

I look at all the weapons. I see a gun, only one catches my eye. I walk over to the gun and lift it up.

"Sniper." Lauren says. I look back at her.

"What does that say about my faith." I question. She smiles.

"Not much. You have faith in patience. You have much faith in yourself as you do others." Lauren says.

"That's it." Lauren nods her head.

"Have you ever shot a gun before?" Lauren ask.

"No." I put the sniper down.

"Good." I frown.

"Why is that good?" I ask while looking at the other weapons.

"It'll be much fun training you to shot." Lauren laughs.
