A moment passes, you look at the origami heart that had "Unfold" written upon it. You did as told, but couldn't refold it after reading its contents.

So, you decided upon folding the note in half two times and shoving it in one of the small zipper pouches on your backpack.

Your last few classes go by and you think nothing of the note, seeing as you thought it was a joke, yet were not able to focus on work properly.

The bell dismissing sixth hour chimes and you get up from your desk and exit the classroom. Making your way to your locker, you see your closest friend waiting for you.

"[Name]-chan! You've literally ignored me all day!" Nejire folds her arms along with her signature pout, trying to guilt trip you.

Key Word: Trying.

You're not new to her antics, you're pretty much immune at this point.

"I wasn't ignoring you. I've just been spaced out."

"Spaced out? Since when does [Surname] [Name] space out? You're always on top of things."

You shrug at her, causing her to raise a brow.

"Spill."

"I got a note today, it's not a big d-"

"Ahh!!!!" she grabbed you by the shoulders.

"Let me read it!"

"Ah.. Okay- Here." you pulled the note from your backpack and handed it to her.

"[Name]-chan! Why didn't you tell me sooner? We could've sleuthed this thing!" she had her arms out, waving slightly.

"One: It's not a crime. Two: It isn't important, or probably even real."

"Are saying it's a prank?"

"Bingo."

"Obviously not!" she groaned loudly.

"The first time someone has ever shown interest and you write it off as some prank? Are you nuts?! Someone is genuinely interested in you!"

"I highly doubt it, Nejire-chan. Usually people are interested in you. 'Who's your friend?' or 'Whoa, your friend is hot.' is most commonly used." you sighed.

"Well, this time you're the hot friend!" she smacked the note onto your chest. You grabbed it and refolded it, putting it back where it previously resided.

"Whatever. For now, i'm ignoring it. Wanna hang out at the diner?" you grinned cutely at your periwinkle haired friend.

"I would love to!" she grinned back, linking her arm with yours.

Sitting down, you put your backpack beside you in the booth and released a breath.

"I'm so tired. The hero course this morning stressed me out a lot."

"Ah, same. My old bones can't handle that much combat." Nejire snickered to herself, propping her head up with her hand.

A waitress came up to you both and put on a mandatory smile.

"Welcome! What can I get for you both?"

"Small, black coffee and a slice of peach pie, please." Nejire smiled as the waitress wrote down Nejire's order.

The waitress then looked to you, waiting for your order.

"A slice of cherry pie and a small glass of lemonade, please."

"Oooookay- I'll be back shortly." the waitress tucker her pen into her apron and walked off to give the orders.

"Cherry? Really? You're so basic, [Name]-chan."

"Leave me and my basic choices alone. Cherry is the absolute best. Especially here, their cherry pie is amazing. Plus, who drinks BLACK COFFEE? Psychopaths, obviously."

"Oh, hush." she rolled her eyes at you playfully.

A few minutes later, the waitress came back with your orders. She left and you both began eating.

"So, what's the plans for the weekend, Nejire-chan?" you asked, pointing to her with your fork.

"Well, I was thinking of trying bungee jumping, but I don't think it's thrilling enough." she shrugged, bringing the coffee cup up to her lips and lightly sipping.

"Not thrilling enough? That's it. You're nuts. I'm calling it here and now." your arms went halfway up as you shook your head.

"Y'know I love anything even remotely 'scary', [Name]-chan. It really gets your adrenaline pumping!" she shook her balled up fists in excitement, grinning wide.

"Is hero training not adrenaline inducing enough for you?"

"Not in the slightest."

"You need guidance."

Nejire just shrugged and giggled, her usual response to you teasing her.

Just then the diner's bell rang, indicating the front door opened.

You peeked past Nejire to see other U.A. students enter the diner.

"Isn't that Togata-san and Amajiki-san?" you asked, causing Nejire to look back behind her.

"Oh? Yeah. I noticed them during the practical. They kicked absolute ass in every part of it from what I hear."

"Better than us?" you inquired.

"Most definitely."

"Ah."

"Yep." she sighed.

You watched them walk by, also listening in to their conversation.

"Mirio, I said I just wanna go home..."

"Tamaki, you complain too much! We're here to have a light meal then we'll hang out at my place! What is so nerve wracking about that?"

"There's too many people here..." Tamaki glanced around then down at the ground.

Mirio had the most confused expression plastered to his face.

"There is literally three other customers here, of which two are students like us. Calm down, have fun! I'm paying, so get whatcha want!" Mirio beamed the brightest smile at his best friend.

"A-Alright, I guess." Tamaki sat down in few booths away from you and Nejire, but Mirio was yet to sit down.

"Mirio? Aren't you going to sit with me?" Tamaki sounded a little panicked.

"I will. Just hold on a sec, okay buddy?"

"Um.. O-Okay." he stared down at the table.

Mirio made his way over to you and Nejire.

"Good afternoon, ladies!" he smiled, "I'm Togata Mirio! Nice to meet you both! I saw you guys during the practical and was wondering if my friend and I could join you both? We could get to know each other a little better. Sound good?"

His happiness was contagious to the point you actually agreed. You're negative about everything, so this warmth you felt from Mirio's positiveness was extremely new to you.

"Sure! Sounds great!" you smiled back to him.

"Yes! Okay- I'll be back!" he went over to Tamaki to tell him the plan.

From where you were, you could see Tamaki's face go paler than powdered sugar.

"Ah, I don't think he's a social person." you turned to Nejire.

"I don't think so, either."
