"Yes, I would love to meet there, but it's too crowded. Yes, I know I'm not a criminal Ji-"Jackson sighed. "Look. We meet up today at the edge of the forest? I'll give you some of my tomatoes and lettuce...Yes, freshly picked from the garden....mhm. Okay, see you later."

"Who was that? Your old friend?" Jimin asked, head tilted.

"Yep." Was all that was said before, "Let's go. You're coming with me. I don't feel safe leaving you with him."

"Okay."

We stopped at the edge of the forest, waiting for another car to appear. When it did, the person got out and had a hat and mask on so you couldn't see his face. Jackson got out of the car, and so did Jimin.

"Did you make another copy just in case Jihyun decides to burn everything?"

"Didn't have to. I knew this would happen, so I made five times the amount you asked me to. I also have the supplies you need to make it." The voice sounded similar. And as Jimin got closer to the mysterious man, They recognized each other.

"Jin?" Was the only word that left Jimin's mouth before he was engulfed in a big hug.

"My baby," Jin sobbed. "I thought I wasn't going to see you again. What happened?" Jimin looked over towards Jackson, asking permission. When he got a nod, he started.

"Jihyun took me thinking I was the person who killed Taehyung. I think when this is over, I'm going to need therapy." He chuckled at the last part. He sure was.

Jin looked at him. He was delighted to see the one who raised him, but he wanted to help Jungkook.

"Jimin, I can see that you want to stay in help. It's okay. Hoseok is taking care of the bakery and Namjoon, and Yoongi is still producing music. Yes, Namjoon and Yoongi are taking a lot longer than they normally do when writing but once I tell them you're fine and safe, I'm sure they'll be happy."

Jimin hugged Jin and said, "Thank you so much. I don't want Jungkook to be all alone during this."

Jungkook looked around the room, seeing only darkness. Jimin and Jackson must've gone out, he thought.

Jihyun had given Jungkook control again, and he couldn't figure out why he did. Giving up power means no revenge or whatever he wanted.

As time passed, Jungkook noticed the subtle change in his vision. The room Started to get hotter, and his breathing was ragged. A yellow and orange hue colored the room, and it was like deja vu. The burning shadow appeared, but this time it had a face. His face.

"Hello Jungkook, it's been a while." The dark, menacing voice said. The sound that sent chills down his spine.

"Go away. Why are you doing this to people? I've never wanted to kill anyone-"

"I'm protecting you! Why can't you see that? I've kept my end of the deal. The world is a cruel place, full of menacing beings. Killing innocent people. Greed, power, fame. That's all that's in this world. No one cares for you. No one ever will. I'm the only one who loves you."

"Your killing people! You're the cruel one! Just leave. I'm done with the deal that you forced me into. I can't deal with the fact that my body, MY BODY, has followed your commands."

"I can't leave, I am you. I'm apart of you. You created me. When you were little, you were looking for a companion. I was there for you."

A faded voice could be heard, calling his name, but he was too fired up.

"You're not real! If my mind created you, it could erase you." Jungkook reached out to touch the shadow, grabbing him. It's too real to be the shadow, but Jungkook didn't process that. He could see himself smirking back at him. Jungkook was holding his neck putting pressure on it.

"Why won't you leave!" Jungkook said, tears streaming down his face. He was so angry with himself. Why did his mind have to create this image?

"I am apart of you. You're the one killing people. You'll see." The shadow said and disappeared, bringing Jungkook back to the real world.

Jungkook was breathing hard. His arms still feeling heavy as he held something in the air. He looked around. His shackles were long gone, and he was standing by the wall.

"J-Jungkook, P-Please." Jimin pleaded. Reality finally set in. He was holding Jimin in the air, the wall acting as a support. Jimin looked as though he was on the verge of passing out, tears already streaming down his face.

"Get out," Jungkook whispered as he set Jimin down.

"No I won't leave--"

"I said get out" Jungkook yelled. He needed to get Jimin away from him, afraid of what could happen.

"No," Jimin said, stronger than before. He wasn't going to let Jungkook go through this alone anymore.

"Jimin, I swear if you don't get out--" Warmth. Something Jungkook hadn't felt since Taehyung died. Since his parents died.

Jimin clung to Jungkook's back, closing his eyes as he hugged him tighter. "I won't leave you. You don't have to be alone. Why can't you see that? I've offered to know that it's dangerous, heck I've even experienced it. I'm doing it because I care for you."

Jimin blushed, realizing what he just said. Butterflies were erupting in his stomach. He confessed to Jungkook.

Jungkook stopped. Jimin cared for him? Why would he? So much has happened between them.

"I might l-like you too.." Jimin's voice faded towards the end of the sentence. Jungkook's heart skipped a beat. Sure, he missed Taehyung. A lot to be exact, but maybe it was time to move on.

Jungkook turned in Jimin's hold looking at him thoughtfully.

"Why would you love a man like me? I almost killed you, twice. I don't deserve to be loved." He said, tears running down his face. He was flattered, but he didn't think Jimin deserved a man like him.

"I've always loved you. I didn't realize it. At first, I thought I just liked you in a friendly way. But that was a lie."

Jungkook leaned into Jimin's hug even more.

"Thank you."

Don't kill me, please. I know I haven't updated in a long time. Just with exams and family being over (and being a little lazy), I didn't have time to write a chapter. Don't worry, I'm making a schedule for my updates, so I don't forget or get lazy. I'll let you know when I figure it out.

Edited A/N: It doesn't help with the fact that I'm lazy. I was supposed to update like two days ago, and I'm still writing the chapter. But, you know, whatever helps me sleep at night.
