Jimin opened his eyes just to close them. The sun's brightness was unbearable for a walking person. After several seconds, he opened them up again and looked around his room. The white sheets matching well with the white walls. The warmth from the sun and covers made Jimin's heart swell. He was so overwhelmed with the emotion that he didn't know what to do with it. Moving his hands to hold his chest, he squealed and smiled, only then noticing that he had no shirt on.
"What? Where's my shirt? I swear I wore one to bed- Wait." Jimin looked beside him to see a shirtless Jungkook next to him, his breathing slow and rhythmic, an arm wrapped around Jimin's waist. A blush blessed Jimin's body, cheeks burning and hot, probably the color of a tomato. The man beside him was beyond godly. The sun ran across his face in the right way, adding on to his partner's beauty. Jimin touched the tan skin, caressing it lightly, feeling the soft skin. After Jimin was done with running his fingers over the outline of Jungkook's face, he moved it down to the shirtless expanse of his chest, feeling the taut muscles. Jungkook's abs caught Jimin's interest, even more, memories of the wild night reappearing in his mind.
The man beside him groaned and slowly opened his eyes, gracing Jimin with a bright, bunny-like, smile. "G' morning," Jungkook said in a deep and raspy morning voice. It was music to Jimin's ears. "Morning, Jungkook," Jimin says back all the while cuddling into his partner's chest. "Want to take a bath with me?" He said less confident, not knowing if the man next to him like the suggestion. "Sure."
"Morning, you two sounded like you were busy last night and this morning," Jin said as the two lovers walked into the kitchen, blushing a cherry red as they had been called out. They had indeed done indecent things in their quote-on-quote "shower". It more or less ended up with them passionately tangling their tongues and limbs until there was no end or beginning. "And I would've appreciated it if it took less time. The water bills going to skyrocket." Jin had added, taking a huge gulp of his coffee. "Jin~" Jimin whines, hiding his head on Jungkook's chest which was moving up and down due to Jungkook laughing. "It's not funny, Jungkook! Why are you laughing?" Jimin hit Jungkook lightly, in a playful manner.
"You're embarrassed? Aw, how cute. You definitely weren't saying that while you were riding my-" Jimin hit Jungkook again and screamed. Jungkook just stood there taking all of Jimin's slaps and whines while laughing even harder than before.
"What's going on in here? It sounds fun." Namjoon said entering the room, grabbing Jin's waist from behind and giving a sweet, quick peck. "Hi baby," Jin smiled and hugged Namjoon's arms twisting back to kiss him back. The couple really did fit each other. They were always happy and solved conflicts calmly. Jungkook and Jimin observed the lovely couple in front of them, wishing the best for themselves.
Suddenly, Jimin had an idea and pulled his phone out, snapping a photo of the beautiful moment. Jin and Namjoon heard the click of the photo and turned to Jimin. "What, I wanted one for my wall. I don't have one of you both, and it was the perfect photo." Jungkook smiled fondly over towards Jimin, thinking about how he prioritizes family and friends before anything else.
"Jungkook," a whisper came. "Yes, Jiminie?" Jimin turned around and looked confused, and said a small I didn't say anything. Jungkook furrowed his brows together, he could have sworn he said something.
Seconds later, Jungkook heard his name called again, this time behind him. "What?" Jungkook said as he looked behind him finding no one. Jimin was getting worried again and asked Jin to go find Jackson. "Jungkook, who are you talking to," Jimin asked, grabbing his arm but quickly retracting it as if it burnt him. "Jungkook, you're burning up, do you have a fever?" Jungkook continued to stare, dazed, as if he was there but not his mind.
"Jungkook," the voice continued, repeating his name over and over. Soon all of them overlapped each other, sounding like chaos in his mind. He felt the heat before he could see him. Jungkook felt his stomach drop. He forgot to take his pill last night. "Shit," he yelled and turned to tell Jimin and the others to get out of the room, but there was no one. "No, no, no, no!" Jungkook grabbed his hair, pulling at it, frustrated. The room continued to get hotter and hotter until it was almost unbearable. He felt something brush his arm and a muddled Jungkook, but nothing was there.
And then he heard it, the laugh that haunted him as a child, deep and cruel. "Well, well, well. It's been awhile Jungkook, hasn't it? Trying to get me to go away, huh? Don't think that's possible." The shadow said, no real form present. "Why? Why do you keep appearing? Please just leave me alone!" The shadow nodded and disappeared, the room turning back to normal. When his vision cleared he saw a worried Jimin in front of him. "Jungkook!" Jimin said and Jungkook ran to hug him. "Hey, it's okay. I'm okay." He brought his hands up to Jimin's face and stroked his cheek lightly. Jungkook then went back to hugging him.
But Jungkook felt it. Something wasn't right. He still felt like he was dazed. "Ah, Jungkook. You're so smart." Jimin said in his angelic voice, laughing. What? Why was Jimin saying that all of a sudden? "You feel it, right? Like you're still in a daze." Jimin said but this time, it wasn't his voice. Chills crawled up his arms and back. This wasn't Jimin, it was the shadow.
Jimin's body then changed into a different form. It was like Jungkook was looking into a mirror. "Like I would let you go that easily." He laughed. Jungkook brought up his hands to the shadow's throat, clenching them tightly. "Go away, Jihyun! I don't need you anymore. I never needed you! I'm not a scared young boy anymore!" Jihyun just continued to laugh, like this is wanted the whole time. "Maybe you don't, seeing as you're doing the same thing I did before now." Once again, Jungkook was confused.
"Let go of him!" He heard suddenly. Jungkook looked around, but no one was there. "Put him down, he can't breathe! Please," He heard someone say, sobbing. Jin?
"What did you do," Jungkook said to Jihyun. "It's not about what I did. It's about what you're doing now." And then he was gone for real. Jin's sobs were louder, clearer. The weight in his hands was still there though. Jungkook looked in front of him, towards his hands and saw Jimin close to passing out. And it all hit Jungkook. Like a plane crash, his heart dropped. It was deja vu all over again. Letting go, Jungkook looked around the room. Jin was on the floor, crying and yelling like he had been pushed away. Jackson also laid on the floor, passed out with a syringe next to him. Namjoon was holding his face in his hand, coughing a little bit of blood. "Wh-What happened," Jungkook said, shaken not believing the sight right in front of him. Namjoon looked at him, glaring like he wanted to kill Jungkook. "Get out," Namjoon said calmly, making the situation scary. "Wai-"
"I said get the fuck out!" Namjoon repeated, this time yelling. And Jungkook just nodded, hanging his head in defeat. He had just messed things up, to the point of no return.
