Chapter 15
Love is...
" I hope you guys didn't have any adventures while I was gone." Cass said with a grin. " I'm only letting Emrys off the hook because she had to save the school from her deranged teenage father."
I shared a look with Spencer and Jackie, who hid their smiles, none of us had told her abut the spiders in the forest yet. We were waiting until we got on the train to tell her, all our stuff had already been packed, so we were enjoying the time we had left on the grounds by the lake. " So, how big was it, exactly?" Jackie asked.
" Large enough that I never want to see again." I said shaking my head.
" I know something I never want to see again." Spencer said and as one we added. " Lockheart."
" Did you get anything from the stuff you got off him?"
" No." Cass grumbled.
" Serves you right for trying to benefit from a fake." Spencer told her and Cass gave him a look before lying back on the grass with a sigh. " I did find out one thing this year. I know who your crush is, Levi."
Spencer's hair burned pinker then his face as he began to try and stutter out a response, before Cass glanced over at him. " Don't worry, your secret is safe with us, Spence. Your our friend, and we will except you for who you are. If we can get over the fact that Emrys is related to the darkest wizard of all time, we don't care who you love. Besides, if I started hating you, I'd be a hypocrite." Cass pointed out and Spencer smiled. " Thank you." He whispered.
End of Book 2
