Where Ever You Go I Am There

Part 1

A bright morning.....ETF office is buzzing with activity but even then there is a serene calmness felt all over.....

Arjun entered office as usual and looked around......It was all the same yet something felt different.....

He looked at Sameer's empty cabin once and took a deep breath.....whatever said and done, he missed Rathod.....that was the ultimate truth....He hadn't thought that despite their cold war and differences, the friendship would still remain somewhere deep inside him.....now in his absence, Arjun felt the void more than ever before.....

He sighed and walked into his cabin.....the sight there perplexed him.....

On the chair opposite to his sat a smart, handsome young man.....Sensing Arjun's entry, the young man swirled around in the chair sporting a charming smile and voicing "Good morning Arjun"

Arjun wondered who this guy was and how did he land up in his cabin....the receptionist hadn't mentioned of any visitor or guest for him....

Arjun scrutinized his vision to judge who the guy was and narrowed his brows in response to the guy's wide smile.....Arjun's looks were as if meaning "whats so good about this morning?"

With his smile intact, he spoke up again, "ek good morning toh bol hi sakthe ho Arjun"

Arjun took his chair first and then spoke up, "tum kaun ho? And what are you doing here?"

The guy replied as he rested back on his seat, "Mere naam pooch rahe ho ya pehchaan??"

Arjun hissed losing his patience, "dono....aur yeh bhi bathao ke tum ETF office mein kya kar rahe ho?"

Guy: main kahi bhi kabhi bhi aa jaa saktha hoom.....mujhe koyi nahi roktha Arjun

Arjun glared and replied, "agar tum yeh bhakwas bandh karke seedhe seedhe jawaab nahi diya toh main kya karunga isska koyi guarantee nahi....samjhe ya samjhaavum?"

Guy smiled at the angry SYS and replied calmly, "shaanti se baat karo Arjun...itna gussa teek nahi....."

Arjun spoke up angrily pointing his finger at the guy, "tum..."

Before he could continue, the guy replied holding out his hand to him, "haan main Nanda Kishore.......aaj se tumaara saat hi rahunga.....matlab kaam karunga"

Then it dawned on Arjun that he could be some new recruit to the team....

Arjun controlled his anger and enquired sternly, "Joining letter?"

Nanda gestured to the letter placed before Arjun....Arjun wondered why he didn't notice the letter before......he shrugged it off and proceeded to read the letter...

Once he read it, he nodded, "teek hai....tum aaj se join kar sakthe ho.....chalo"

Arjun got up and shoved his revolver behind him and walked out expecting Nanda to follow him....

Nanda smiled and shook his head at Arjun's behavior and anger.....he thought to himself, "Looks like I have a tough job ahead Arjun....shuruwaat tumse hi karna padega...."

He grinned to himself and followed Arjun into the conference room.....Sakshi, Aisha, Liza and Chotu were already present there......

Arjun took his seat before Nanda walked in......Seeing a new face walking in, the team started looking at each other enquiringly.....Sakshi leaned over to Liza and whispered near her ears, "yeh smart ladka kaun hai?"

Nanda Kishore replied instantly, "mujhe nahi pehchaanthi Miss Sakshi Anand???"

Sakshi was stunned wondering what he meant and how he knew her name....in fact all including Arjun were shocked hearing that......

Arjun raised his eyebrows and enquired to Sakshi, "tum jaanthi ho isse?"

Sakshi wasn't out of her shock and so couldn't reply..... .....Nanda replied to his question instead, "woh mujhe nahi jaanthi.....lekin Sakshi ko main acche se jaantha hoom....."

Arjun stared at both of them thinking, "No wonder, dono hi itne bhakwaas karte hai!"....

Meanwhile Sakshi thought to herself, "yeh toh aathe hi meri band bhajaane ki planning kar raha hai.....hey Bhagwaan, ab Arjun se tumhi mujhe bachaana"

Nanda spoke up, "itna daro matth Sakshi.....main bas mazaag kar raha tha.....tum ETF mein ek young handsome guy ki entry chahti thi na? dekho main aagaya"

Sakshi rolled her eyes at Nanda.....she could sense Arjun glaring at her and inwardly prayed to all Gods to save her.....

Arjun sarcastically remarked, "haan kuch khaas kaam nahi hai toh yahi sahi....ab toh usse tumaara company bhi mil gaya..." [Arjun turned to the team and made a sarcastic introduction] yeh Mr Nanda Kishore, ETF ka latest recruit!"

Nanda laughed making the others wonder what was so funny.....He came closer to Sakshi and patted her shoulders before voicing, "yes we both would make a great team....totally looking forward to it!"

Sakshi looked at Nanda once who was smiling as always and then looked at the rest of the team helplessly......

Nanda Kishore added before he took his seat opposite to Arjun, "Not just a recruit......I am the second in command to Arjun here"
