My eyes flutter open to Shane next to me. He looks up from his laptop and smiles.
"G'Morning, Sweetheart!"
"Good morning," I say sleepily.
He puts his arm around my shoulder. "So, I took care of that little situation."
My eyes bulge. "You did?!" Oh no...
"Yeah. No one will be bothering you anymore." He grins. "Check your Twitter!"
I pull out my phone and enter my Twitter app. I gasp. My dashboard was filled with 'I'm sorry's directed towards me. "H-How did you--"
"Simple. I just tweeted out a message and made a vlog saying, 'Stop. If you don't be nice, I will stop making videos.' That shut them up."
"W-Would you really do that for me?" I ask.
He nods his head. "Of course. You're my angel." He grins.
I start to tear up. I pull him into a tight hug and let out a sob. "Thank you," I cry.
He hugs me tighter. "I love you so much, Emmy."
"I love you, too, Shane Lee," I whisper.
He plants a soft kiss on my lips. He pulls back and wipes the tears from my face. "Shh, don't cry."
I smile. I can always count on him. I look at my lap for a few minutes as I stop crying. I look up with a big grin. "Can we flip pancakes together?"
He chuckles. "Of course, Emm." He holds my hand and leads me to the kitchen. We gather the materials and start to make them. Now it's time for the flipping.
Not normal pancake flipping with a boring old spatula. No, I mean flipping the fun way. We carefully take the pan off, and with a flick of the wrist, it goes flying into the air and somersaults. We turn it into a competition. Whoever could flip it the highest number of times in a row without dropping it wins.
My turn finally ends, and I manage to keep my pancake safe from harm. Now it's Shane's turn. He flips it up without trouble the first few times. On his next try, it landed towards the side, almost falling off. A try after that, his pan missed, and the pancake ended up in Shane's hair.
He screams as it hits his hair. "Hot! Hot!"
Being the nice person I am, I stand there and chuckle.
"A little help?" He says playfully annoyed.
I bring the syrup bottle over and pour some on his head. "Done!" I grin.
He gasps then smirks as he picks up the whipped cream, spraying some on my hair. I scream.
"Holy shit!" I take the whipped cream from him and squirt some onto him. Then, I throw a few pieces of the strawberries we previously cut up on top. I smile. "Done!" I run behind the island as he runs toward me with the syrup. After ten minutes of spraying maple syrup and whipped cream all over the place, we stop. Observing our surroundings, we burst out laughing.
"Do we have to clean this?" I giggle.
He chuckles. "Sadly, yes. And quickly, too. Brittani's coming over in a few hours to film." He lends me a hand and pulls me up.
