Hannah

Henry caught me up to speed on what Regina said about Emma. he couldn't write her out. I thought you were mad at mom. I looked down and sighed. a lot of things recently made me realize, if dad loves her, then I need to try to make things easier... besides I miss looking at Emma like a mom, I'm kinda jealous of Dannie for getting Emma as a mom for a whole freaking year. he smirked some. well if we're going to go get her, we need some helping getting over there. I smirked. I think I know a pirate.

it took us a while but we got to the Jolly Roger. Henry I don't think- AHOY, IS ANYONE HERE?!? I flinched but didn't follow him on deck. we don't really say Ahoy to much, you do know that right? he looked at me and frowned. careful boy! no one steps onto the Jolly Roger with out an invitation from it's captain first. I looked at Henry. Henry that is the polite way of saying get off the bloody deck. he didn't listen though he went and talked to him and then I heard the laugh. I turned and saw Black Beard I was starting to panic I couldn't face this man, not when he had tried to kill me and has almost succeeded and to be honest out of fear I turned backwards and walked on deck and then Black bear came on as well. Henry we need to go. I said eyeing him out of the corner of my eye. dad disagreed to helping us and fighting Black Beard for the ship. Hannah! you can fight him, you know everything your dad taught you, right? yeah but- then fight him. I was told to stay as far away from a fight with Black Beard. I said my accent coming out Henry frowned. what's the matter with you?!? I looked at him and gave him a look he smirked. then I guess I will have to fight you. I backed up some Henry hit a rope with a sword and a sail weight came down and hit Black Beard in the head. Henry talked back and forth to him and I sighed. did you forget between the three of us right now I'm the most qualified to sail? Henry turned. oh yeah, sorry Hannah. wait a minute, no girl has ever laid hands on the helm of the Jolly Roger. he said as we put Black Beard on the dock I looked up at him. well then, as soon as I find out how frayed the rope is on that sail weight that's gonna change. I said walking back on deck. and you carry a sword, how old are you?!? twelve about to be thirteen, why? he stopped and swallowed hard I walked over to Henry who frowned. what? what do I do now? I sighed and face palmed. we'll be luck to get out of here before the end of the bloody book. I said before walking over and pulling the anchor up. get the ropes off the dock. I said to dad who was just standing there he nodded and ran over to pull ropes. Henry carefully turn the wheel to the right. which right?!? the one that goes away from the dock please. got it. I sighed this was bad

I was taking a turn at the helm. what'er you doing? I looked up and saw dad. three notches Star Port. he nodded some. h-how do you know how to- my father taught me, best pirate I knew. I suppose he was the one who gave you the compass necklace then. I nodded. yeah it's enchanted so I can always find my way home... which in my case would be to my da-father. I said looking down as I almost messed up. may I? he asked gesturing to the compass necklace. yeah sure. I said slipping it over my head and handing it to him he popped it open with his thumb and frowned. what? I asked not looking at him. it's pointing south... it's pointing at me, I do say this thing is broken. I turned. is it? I asked raising an eye brow, the whole time I had been using my accent to maybe sound a little normal he then looked at the note and swallowed hard again and then handed it back after closing it. thanks. I said putting it back on when I heard Henry. what did you do?!? a sail came untied and- you stay with the helm I got this. I said running down to where Henry was

I stood there, this girl was strange, knew everything about the Jolly Roger and she hadn't even been on deck before but the compass necklace, I knew where that was from. I had given a woman named Milah that necklace after a few nights we spent together while Black Beard had us docked in their port, turns out she was with child and before I left I had one sliver coin and I went to some elderly man who made the coin into a necklace and said it would have an important value at some point, I had read the note in there before I had memorized it, and twelve years later I see it, again, around a girls neck I looked down this couldn't be the same child that hadn't even been born yet when I left.
