"I bet I can jump higher than you!" Mewed Sunkit as she leaped up into a small tree inside SunClan's camp.

"No you cannot!" Glowkit meowed chasing after Sunkit. The small, golden tabby sat on the tip of the tree. She glanced down at her sister. Her piercing violet eyes looked down at her large sister.

"Come on, Glowkit! You got to be faster if you want to be a Warrior!" Sunkit yowled as she began licking her light yellow chest fur.

"Sunkit! Glowkit! Come down from that tree!" Meowed Cloudspots sweetly. Sunkit leaped down and rubbed herself against Cloudspots.

"Hi Cloudspots!" Sunkit purred.

"Hello my little sweetie!" Cloudspots mewed at her foster daughter. "How is your day going?"

"Very good!" Sunkit purred. Glowkit jumped down from the tree and landed besides Sunkit.

"Hi Cloudspots," mewed Glowkit.

"Oh, hi Glowkit," Cloudspots said as she wrapped her tail around Sunkit.

Why isn't Glowkit talking to me?

Wondered Sunkit while Cloudspots walked her away and directed her to the fresh-kill pile.

"Take your share!" Cloudspots licked her ear and padded off. Sunkit pulled out a small juicy vole. She walked over by Glowkit who was stalking towards her.

"Want to share?" She mewed eyes glowing at her.

"No." She snapped as she stalked off towards Rabbitkit.

Why does she have to be so mean?

Skystar limped toward Sunkit.

"Hello Sunkit," purred Skystar. Sunkit's face glowed.

"Want to share?" She mewed.

"Of course," he said sitting down. They shared the vole as Glowkit stared at them from across the camp.

"Skystar!" Yowled Rivershine as she padded over to him. "I'm sending out sunhigh patrol and another hunting patrol.

"Okay, and make sure you get a nice vole for Sunkit." He purred.

"I'll make sure of it." Rivershine's blazing green eyes glowed with warmth.
