***[WIBBLEY WOBBLY TIMEY WIMEY SKIP]***

I woke up and looked over at the clock. It was almost two o'clock, the only time I could hang out with Amber. After three days of camp, she still hasn't gotten claimed. That doesn't stop us from hanging out. She has gotten acquainted with almost everybody at Camp Half-Blood yet she still hangs out with me.

I got up and started walking groggily to the bathroom. After a quick shower, I got dressed and walked down to the beach. Amber was already there, sitting on a blanket with a large picnic basket. I eyed the basket suspiciously before realizing she still hadn't seen me. I took this opportunity to have some fun. I slowly snuck up behind her.

"BOO!" I yelled in her ear. She tensed up before pulling out her new sword, Inflicter, and pushing it against my throat. "Watch where you're pointing that thing, Amber!" She looked at me and relaxed but didn't move her sword.

"Don't ever sneak up on me again," she warned. "If you do, I will personally find a unicorn, bring it here, and have it tear your heart out with its horn." I must've had a frightened look because she laughed and pulled away her sword.

"If you're wondering about the basket, feel free to look inside." I gave her a confused look before opening it. It was full of gummy bears.

"You truly do know me better than most," I stated before grabbing a handful. I threw a few at her and she caught them in her mouth. The day after we arrived at Camp Half-Blood, we had a funny conversation about our favorite stuff. We discovered that we both have many things in common. One of which, being an unhealthy addiction to gummy bears.

"So how how did you get this magical encasement of beauty?" I asked quizically before answering myself. "The Stolls." She nodded and smiled.

"So what shall we do with my remarkable army of gummy bears?" she asked. We thought for about three seconds before saying, "Gummy bear war," at the same time. We smiled and began declaring the rules.

"Okay, let's go over it again," Amber said while I groaned. "Health points are the same as attack points. Green and yellow gummy bear are two, red are three, and orange and white are four. We each get seven of each color and are allowed to arrange them however we want. You can only attack and use the front row of an army. Combo moves are allowed to be used. Is there anything I'm missing?" I thought for a moment before realizing what she forgot.

"You forgot to say that whatever gummy bears you kill get to be eaten," I stated smartly. "Can't you just feel the stomach ache already?" She glared at me.

"Let the games begin," she said confidently.

"And may the odd be ever in your favor!" I quoted, causing her to laugh. And the game began.
