I woke up at around dawn. I made some coffee and woke up the rest of the demigods in the house. We all sat around the kitchen table, listening to Josh and Thetis ask questions. Amber only asked one.

"Where are we going?" she asked, almost making me choke on my coffee. "I mean, what is down that hole that is so bad?" The memory was so painful, I didn't want to remember. But I did.

***FLASHBACK***

I was in the Underworld, on a walk through Elysium. I was so busy remembering the times that I visited Bianca there that I didn't notice that someone was following me until they covered my mouth with a gloved hand. I tried to scream but it was muffled. He was dragging through a tunnel that I was all too familiar with.

The tunnel that led to the entrance of Tartarus.

"Gaea will win this war, and you are going to help her," the man said. He then threw me i to the hole. Being the heroic person I am, I passed out as I fell.

***END OF FLASHBACK***

"Nico!" Amber said as she snapped her fingers in front of my face. I grabbed her wrist before she could pull it away.

"Did you just snap at me?" I asked her angrily. She just stared at me in fear until I let go of her wrist. She quickly pulled away her wrist and scooted her chair closer to Josh. I sighed.

"Sorry," I said. "If you really want to know, we're going to Tartarus. And before you ask, I've been there before. I can lead us as far as I can." Her eyes widened as Josh and Thetis looked at me confused.

"Tartarus?" Josh asked. "Meghan talked to me about that place once. Said it was where all monsters go when they die. Unless they're killed with Stygian iron." I nodded.

"The most horrifying creatures in Greek mythology," I said. "Let's hope we don't die before we escape." Thetis just jumped upforn the table, walked over to the couch, and grabbed all of our bags.

"Well, we got food, water, ambrosia, and nectar," she said cheerfully. "Time to go on this suicide quest!" She handed each of us our bags and walked over to the door. Josh, Amber, and I all stood up and followed her out the door and to the manhole cover. I grabbed Amber's hand halfway through the walk.

"Here we are," I said as we got there. "The entrance to the entrance to Tartarus. All we got to do is go through the sewer tunnel until we reach a really big cavern that has a really big hole in it. Then, we jump into the hole and hope that we land safely. Got it?" Everyone nodded unsurely.

As I led the way through the tunnel, I could here ghosts whispering to us, telling us to follow them. Josh and I had to stop Amber and Thetis before they went off course. It took about an hour until I decided we should stop.

"Hold up, guys," I said to them. When I turned to face them, I saw Amber and Josh, struggling to stay standing as they were being pulled forward. We were almost there.

"Hold hands everyone," I said and we linked hands. I was holding Amber and Thetis's hands and Thetis was holding Josh's. We continued to walk until we reached the cavern, where Amber and Josh almost got sucked in as soon as we entered.

"Ready?" I asked and they all nodded. "Three, two, one, JUMP!" And together, we all fell into Tartarus."

**************

My evilness will not stop here. First they fall into Tartarus. Next, they meet a famous monster from Greek mythology. And the rest is either undecided or too horrible for me to tell you. I decided on an ending that nobody will ever like. But you can hate me later. For now, you can love me. And remember, lemon and pie had a baby known as the Glazed Lemon Pie.

ILYASM,

M. Leigh
