Nine.

Me and Shawn arrived to London, my grandmother was pretty rich. I saw a well dressed man who held up a sign with my name on it. So we walked to the man and he took us to my grandmothers house.

Me and Shawn got settled in, I took a shower and I changed I wore a over sized sweater with shorts. I then turned on the tv and saw a commerical come on.

"All you people out their! do you guys think you got what it takes to be a star! Welcome to the X-Factor! Auditions will be held on friday! see you there!"

I shouted for shawn "Shawn!" I heard his footsteps and he came in. "What's sup?", "X-Factor auditions are this friday, I wanna go audition", "You should I mean you have potential","Yeah" I said as I saw my hair dried up already. I told Shawn "Hey let's go longboarding", "Sure" I then changed.

I changed into an oversized white t-shirt with rolled up sleeves, burgundy skinny jeans, and a burgundy puff ball beanie. I went downstairs and saw my grandmother she was knitting. I walked over to her and hugged her and said "Whatcha makin there?", "A sweater", "Gran I'm gonna go longboarding with Shawn? ok?", "Of course have fun" I kissed her cheek and waited for Shawn to come down the stairs and he came down with black pants and a navy blue sweater with a white shirt inside and off we were.

I started longboarding down the streets in London. I couldn't stop thinking of Calum, I feel bad for that child actually...I mean having a mother like Allie must be awful.

But then something kept replaying in my head. Something I had thought 'for all we know that child isn't Calum's'.

I mean she was one of Calum's one night stands. So doesn't that kind of make her like a prostitute. But if I tell Calum he won't listen to me, I mean Allie doesn't look like a trustworthy type of person.

I then signal Shawn who is behind me showing him that we are gonna stop. Then we stop at this mall, me and Shawn go and look at the stores. Then I see a couple, the girl looked like she was demanding the guy something. The guy looked done with her arguments. It reminded me of Calum and Allie.

*skip to friday*

"I can't believe I am doing this Shawn....what if they all say no", "It wouldn't hurt to try" Said Shawn, then my Grandmother said "Sweet heart I have a good feeling about this audition...your father would be so proud of you" I just hugged her.

I was waiting for them to tell me it was time. I was wearing a black shirt with a tiger's face on it, and white high waisted shorts with black knee socks along with white Dr.Martens. I wasn't nervous of performing infront of people. I was nervous of what the judges were gonna say, "Miss Walker it's time for you to go on" I hugged both Shawn and My Grandmother and took a deep breath.

I walked on stage, a lot of people applauded and some yelled "Woo! Go Jade!" I shyly waved. Then one of the judges says "What is your name love?" said Cheryl Cole I loved her.

"Um Jade Walker", "Beautiful name...how old are you?", "17", "Where are you from?", "I was born in New York....but grew up in Sydney,Australia", "What song are you gonna sing?", "Feeling Good by Nina Simone", "Wow that song is really old but good luck", "Thank You" I said.

I just closed my eyes and waited for the music. I opened my eyes and started singing.

"Birds flying high, you know how I feel sun in the sky you know how I feel, breeze drifting on by you know how I feel"

I sang the song with such passion, and the strong parts of the song easily. I was really comfortable on stage, I kept smiling because I loved performing. I heard the judges say "I can't believe that's her voice" and "What!" and "Wow" I ended the song strong.

Then I stood there waiting for the judges responses. Simon spoke first "Did you practice this song?", "Yes this is one of my favorite songs actually", "Well results show.....I really like your personality and your voice and I do see you as a star" I was happy inside and said "Thank you very much" Then the other judges gave their reveiw and then Cheryl said "You remind me of a character.....Fluttershy", "Get told a lot" I said laughing at the end.

Then good news.......They all said yes! I was the happiest person alive. I went backstage and saw Shawn happy and he hugged me and spun me around, my grandmother said "I knew you had it in you.....your father would have been proud of you" We left and we went celebrating in a resturant.

I was so happy, I then started eating until I saw a familiar guy.

It was Calum.

I was in complete shock, I just kept staring until I saw Allie her bump, she almost looked like 4 months pregnant. The hypothesis of that child not being Calum's was pretty clear. I started talking to Shawn, but sadly Calum noticed me.

I saw a smile on his face, but then he asked for a table that wasn't that far from mine, yet not so close. Then Calum gave me a signal showing me he wanted to talk to me. I told Shawn and my Grandmother that I would be back, I had Calum face to face with me. Then he hugged me and said "I have been a wreck without you" I slowly pushed him away. And I spoke "Calum.....I know you probably won't believe me but I think that child isn't yours", "I don't know either I mean she 'just got pregnant' and her bump is pretty big" he said.

He tried to hold my hand but I flinched my hand away. I said "Calum..you hurt me and badly, and we still don't know if that child is yours or not....please just stop breaking me" he pulled me close that our noses were touchingand he said "I need you I will do anything to get you back to my side" he said.

In that moment when we were close, I felt a spark, I then just walked away. I walked back to my table and ate, once we ate we went to the mall and then headed home.

I changed and was still happy that I am in the X-Factor. But now I know Calum still loves me. I need him badly too.
