Every time they shout
My throat clogs up
My knees begin to shake
My head becomes clouded
No words left to say
I am left unspoken
And my body falls
My body reacts
To what she did to me
My chest begins to ache
And my heart is beating too fast for my body to keep up
I feel like I'm gone
My ears are ringing so loud
Every sound is magnified
I can not scream out
My hands flutter.
And I'm caught in those flashbacks that I don't want to see.
