The happiness didn't last.

*Liam's POV*
A little while after Cait woke up, the boys managed to make her remember.
She came upstairs, laughing, with Jai's arm around her waist.
El, Perrie, and Dani started squealing when they saw.
I rolled my eyes and chuckled. Girls will be girls, in any situation.
And Caitlyn will be Caitlyn.
Apparently, she made a hole in the wall by kicking a punching bag right off the ceiling.
My little sister grew up pretty quickly, and I bet she can say the same for myself.
It's good to see her smiling again.
I watched her among and talking, until her pocket vibrated.
She took her phone out, and answered it, looking confused.
A bad kind of confused.
She started laughing nervously and shaking her head.
Shit.
What is she in denial about?
"WHAT? NO. THIS ISN'T FUNNY."she screamed.
I ran over to her, and we sat down on the couch.
When she put her phone in her pocket,she turned back to me, her face expressionless.
"Liam, one of the pipes in the house burst. Mom and Dad are dead." She said, in a monotone.
I felt the blood drain from my face.
"How?" I croaked out.
"Carbon Monoxide. The alarm didn't go off."
What?
"But they-"
"-Always replace the batteries." Finished Caitlyn, shaking her head.
"Did someone..."
"Time to call some cops to this party. "
"Who do you know?"
"I went to school with two, one of them's one of Niall's exes."
"Wait. You went to school with the Rivers?"
"Yup, that was why Blake showed up at the Charity event, I told Jai to call him."
I searched for Niall in the crowd of people, and dragged him over.
"What's wrong?"
"We'll need to call Katie, and get in touch with the U.K police. We think someone caused the death of our parents."
"O-ok."
She whipped out her own phone.
"Hey, Blake? Yup, I remember now. Yes, I'm at a party, get to my place right now. Ok, fine, you can bring Chris, Cameron, and Josh. No, do NOT bring a six pack beer, we need to solve a crime!"
She hung up, and motioned for me to come downstairs.
We went to the recording studio.
She handed me a sheet of lyrics, and a pair of beats.
I listened to the tune and lyrics, my eyes slightly watering.
"Liam, you ok?"
She gave me a hug, and pressed the recording button.
The music started playing, and we both took a deep breath.
