*Caitlyn's POV*

Josh, Louis, Blake, Beau, Simon, and I sat in the chairs in the auditorium, nervous energy running through the veins of the rookies, Josh, and Beau. We were all set, and got a deal to film the auditions as a MTV special.

Blake and I were judging on the dancing, Josh and Beau were judging the musical part, And finally, Lou and Simon were the big critics. Simon's brutal honesty+Lou's sass was the formula for finding potential.

"Kristen Meyers?" I called. A teenage girl with a boombox came onstage.

"Um, Kristen, that's not necessary, we have speake-" said Beau awkwardly, who was cut off with a "Five, six, seven, eight!" I locked eyes with Simon, and he nodded, facepalming. I glanced at Blake, also nodding at me, and mouthing "kill me now."

"Stop." I said, startling Josh and Beau a bit.

"Kristen, you cannot interrupt a judge like that. Learning dance is similar to the military. It is based on respect. If you cannot respect your teacher, you sure as hell aren't capable to respect the people you'll be on tour with. Next." said Blake.

After a few hundred curse words, an boombox thrown into the seats, two security guards, and a lawsuit, we moved onto the next audition.

"Hi, I'm Sam Davis, I'm sixteen, I'm trying out for bass?"

"Is that a statement, or a question?" asked Lou.

"Statement." he said.

"Good." replied Lou, with a smile. Lou and I shared a look. This kid's stage presence was pretty good, not too in the background, but wouldn't overshadow the vocalists.

He did a pretty good job, I put him on the bootcamp list.

"Hi, I'm Evrett Gauthier, I'm 20, I'm here for being a backup dancer."

"You know we're stopping in all the provinces, right?" I asked.

"Yeah, I was here for vacation, might as well drop by." he said.

I nodded, and the music started playing. This kid was like a mini Blake. Blake put his hand up, stopping the music."Caitlyn, you know what I'm thinking?" he asked.

"On three. Simon, please count for us." I said.

"3,2,1."

"You're on bootcamp for both U.K and Canadian tour!" we both said, watching Evrett jump and fistpump.

"Thank you!" he said, almost in tears.

"Don't disappoint me." I said, with a faint smile.

He jogged offstage.

"Everybody, remember. 5am for dance bootcamp, 8 for bass. Go get some sleep, everybody!" said Josh.

We took a limo back to my place, slumping lazily against the soft interior.

"Now you know the excruciating pain I go through, filtering through these acts." groaned Simon.

"I am SO happy that Brittany's coming tomorrow, we're the Toxic duo." I said, sighing.

"Those people are going to DIE under your critisism." said Josh, chuckling, slinging an arm around my shoulders, and pulling me close. He was right. I had been called "Mean", and a bitch, but I couldn't have cared less.

Tears were shed, but better now than during public humiliation, or bootcamp. Actually, who am I kidding? Tears are ALWAYS shed at bootcamp.

I rested my head on his shoulder, taking in the quiet atmosphere.

"I can finally tell Eleanor that I used the word 'outrageous' on a person." happily sighed Louis.

We burst into laughter.

"Mr.Cowell, we've reached the destination."

"Thank you, George. Tomorrow at 4:30 am?"

"Yes, sir."

We got out, and walked into the house, and straight to bed,not even bothering to heat up dinner.

"Caitlyn?" asked Josh.

"No monkey business, Josh. What?" I asked, changing, and flopping onto the bed, exhausted after the auditions.

"Whyyyy?" pouted Josh.

"Because I said so." I said, yawning and rubbing my eyes. He then flopped down next to me.

"Josh, put a shirt on, your abs are distracting." I murmered

"No."

"Whyyy?" I asked, trying to focus on the ceiling instead.

"Because I said so." he said, smirking.

"Fine. Night, Josh." I said, burying my head into the fluffy sheets, fully aware of Josh's particularly muscly arms around my waist.
