*Luke's POV*
He had it coming. I'm just saying.
My phone started buzzing.
"Helllooooooo?" slurred Jai.
"I'll be right there." I sighed, then hung up. Jai had been spending his days at the bar, ever since Pauly and Joel found out what was going on, and locked up the alcohol.
"Skip, James, Beau, I'm going-"
"No, we'll stay home." they said. Now, picking Jai up was like a chore.
I walked out,and drove to the bar, where Jai was sitting down in front, head in his hands. I almost thought he was a hobo.
"Come on, Jai, it's Luke. We're going home." I coaxed, handing him a water bottle. He eventually got up, and into the car.
"So, how was your day?" I asked, warily. Even though he was my twin, it felt like I was raising a child or something.
"Aweeeeessooommmeee!"
I cringed at the alcohol in his breath, and rolled the windows down.
"Noo....cold...." groaned Jai. Even though it was September, it was an unusually warm fall in Toronto.
"Jai, It's- Oh, my god." I glanced over at him at a red light, he was passed out.
I took a detour to the hospital.
When I was in the waiting room, I called the boys. In the middle of the call, the nurse came out. "Just wait, the nurse just came out." I said, then covering the Mic.
"Mr.Brooks, I have some bad news. His kidney failed, we need to jet him to a hospital in London immediately." she said.
I dropped the phone in shock. My thoughts were clouded, and I collapsed back into the chair.
"Mr.Brooks? Excuse me, are you ok?" I heard.
"LUKE! LUKE, WE'RE COMING RIGHT NOW!" screamed Beau, from the phone.
I felt myself feeling dizzy, and darkness overtook me.
*Beau's POV*
Joel drove us to the hospital, where we saw Luke's phone on the ground, and Luke looking pale, sitting on the chair with a bottle of water.
The nurse filled us in on what happened, and Joel immedietly ordered tickets to fly out. As we were sitting in the waiting room, I looked around the room.
There was a little girl having a massive nosebleed, an old man basically coughing her lungs out, and a pale woman, whose hand kept jittering. It's sad how life twists a life. I could imagine the little girl happily playing at a playground. The old man reading by the fireplace. The lady possibly spending time with her kids, judging by the picture in her open wallet on her lap.
I only knew one person to call. I numbly took my phone, and dialed the number.
*Caitlyn's POV*
"Eeeeek!!! Stop, Josh, I don't wanna get pancake batter in my hair!" I stopped running, and pouted.
"Fine." he sighed, placing the last pancakes onto the plate, turning off the stove, and flopping down on the couch.
"You know you love me." I said, smirking.
"Yes, I do." He said, gently smiling, and pulling me down with him. We laid there in silence,Josh playing with my hair. I looked up. "I love you." I said, smiling. "Love you too." He said. We both leant in.
" 'Cuz when you hold me like this, you know my heart skips skips, a be-" I pressed the Answer button, as Josh flopped back, and groaned. I rolled my eyes, laughing a bit at his reaction.
