[If you read the first book, you don't really need to read this. Unless you want to of course].
[Also, did I mention that I was dropping this today?]
Caleb's eyes flew open before he sat up and ran a hand through his damp hair.
He hated those types of dreams. And the funny thing was, he only seemed to have nightmares when his sleep paralysis occurred.
He couldn't remember a time when he dreamt of being rich and famous and sleep paralysis occurred.
And that fucking sucked ass.
He sat there for a few moments, processing things. He tried to ignore the headache that slowly crept up on him.
The headache that came from waking up too fast.
And then he glanced over at his clock and nearly jumped out of his bed upon seeing the time.
His new roommate was supposed to be there in 5 minutes and here Caleb was, barely awake.
Although Caleb usually wasn't a social person (he'd usually object the idea of living in the same house with a stranger), he heard that this guy wasn't bad.
He had money.
And if Caleb wanted to keep this apartment, he'd need to pay rent. He couldn't pay rent every month by himself with his minimum-wage job.
Well, he could always use his parents' money. But using their money for stuff he could use his own money for upset him.
That's why he had a job. So he could make money to pay the rent. But rent was high.
Now if he was selling his music and making good profit off of that, then there'd be no problem.
But he wasn't. So a roommate it was.
He fixed up his hair a big and pulled on his robe before leaving his room and making his way to the kitchen so that he could make a small meal.
Nothing too much. After all, his new roommate was supposed to be coming soon.
And he just needed enough food in his stomach so that he could take his medicine.
Yes, it made him feel drowsy sometimes. But it was better than walking around having conversations with animals and thinking that the sky was yellow or something.
So after eating his semi-toasted croissant with butter and drinking a whole glass of water, he took his medication.
And just on cue, there was a knock on the door.
Caleb opened the front door and froze. He wasn't sure if his mouth had been hanging open. But it probably was.
You know those moments when the super hot guy or gal makes their first appearance on screen and everyone else in the movie or show just swoons over them?
This was one of those moments.
Minho was a tall, semi-built, hot hot hot Asian guy. Despite the fact that his skin was very pale, something about him glowed.
Maybe his aura. Charismatic aura.
Either way, the way his friend described his appearance was spot on.
This guy was a fucking god.
"Are you just gonna stand there or let me in?" On his back was a backpack. And on either side of him sat a luggage bag.
Holding the handles of those luggage bags were two manly-looking muscular hands.
Caleb didn't have a choking kink. But he was sure that he could change up His preferences for this god that stood before him.
"Uh yeah. Of course." The apartment owner stepped to the side to let Minho in, not-so-discretely checking out the guy's veiny arms and firm butt as he entered the apartment.
"Your room is the one at the end of the hall." He said.
"Thanks. I have more stuff outside in my truck. Can you help me bring it in?"
"Of course."
"Cool." And after putting his stuff in his room, Minho was back out.
"Fuck me. I think I wouldn't mind being social this year....."
