“A flower for you, my lady.” Sjin held out a bright red flower as he leaned on the bar table. She didn’t hear him come in as she turned to face him with two glass jugs in her hand.
“Oh, it’s Sjin!” She says happily surprised. “What are you doing here?”
“I’ve come to see you.” He says, grinning. “Here. I even brought you a flower.”
“Aww, how sweet.” She says, laying the glasses down to take it. “It’s very pretty.”
He holds her free hand softly. “Yep. Just like you.”
She blushes but playfully pushes him away. “You sly thing. You never waste anytime to sweep me off my feet.” She smells the flower and smiles. “I really missed you.”
His hand sweeps her cheek. “I missed you more. I’m sorry it’s been so long. Sips was heavily against me leaving. Business was picking up pretty steadily and he needed me to help. I finally managed to pull away for a bit.”
“It’s okay.” She assures him as she lays her hand over his. “You’re here now.”
They kiss softly with the bar between them and the Captive Creeper is all quiet as they pull away. For what seemed like ages, they melt in each others company. Both of them content with just being with each other. Both of them incredibly happy.
