"Lex, come on, let go, I need to leave." Ashton sighed, trying to pull his arm out of the strong grip Lexi surprisingly had on Ashton's arm. Lexi groaned in to her pillow and pulled his arm back, causing Ashton to lose his balance and fall right on top of Lexi.

Ashton sighed and stayed put where he was, just for a short while. Eventually he tried to get up again, Lexi sighed and let him go, causing Ashton to furrow his brows. "Baby." He sighed, placing his hands on either sides of her waist and turning her around so she was facing him.

"You've been gone all week, you come home when I'm already asleep and you leave when I'm barely awake. I miss you." Lexi sighed, sitting up straight and crossing her legs, staring at him. "I know, I miss you too, we've just been so inspired and constantly working on new songs." Ashton explained, reaching for her fingertips.

Lexi bit the inside of her cheek, staring at their hands. "Will you be gone in the weekend too?" She said, not daring to look up at him. "No, I told them I will not be coming to the studios in the weekends, I can't do that to my fiancé." He winked before reaching for her waist and pulling her in to his lap.

"Well you can't do that to yourself either, working seven days a week seems a bit too much, doesn't it." Lexi mumbled, looking over Ashton's shoulder so she didn't have to connect their stare.

"Baby."

"Yes."

"I love you."

"I know."

Ashton bit his lip and leaned in, placing a long kiss on her cheek before she turned her head and connected their lips for a little longer. Eventually Ashton broke away, sighing, "I really need to leave now, Lex, we can't do this every morning." He said, looking at their hands. "Maybe you shouldn't just leave every morning." Lexi replied, sighing and getting off of his lap.

Ashton sighed, staring at her, this was harder than expected. But Ashton understood her. They went from spending almost every second of every day together to basically not seeing each other for a whole week, it was hard on their relationship.

Lexi stayed put for a little longer, "Lex," Ashton said, reaching out for her hand. "No, Ash, just go, you need to head to the studio." She said, getting up and walking in to their en suite bathroom, closing and locking the door.

Ashton shook his head powerless, he really wanted to stay, but he couldn't. He got up and walked over to the door of the bathroom, placing his hand on it before letting out a breath and reaching for his notebook and pen before walking out of the bedroom.

He walked down the stairs to see his friends not there anymore. They had given up on waiting for him after the second day, realising that his saying goodbye took them too long to wait, so they would just meet him in the studio. He reached for his car keys and walked out of the house, sitting down in his car.

He drove off and after a twenty minute drive he reached the studio, a small crowd gathering. He pulled up his hood, not in the mood for talking or pictures. He passed all of the fans and paparazzi quietly, heading inside.

Once he reached their room he could hear soft chatting. He took a deep breath and opened the door. "Hey, Ash." Calum said first, smiling. Ashton gave his best friends a nod and walked over to hang up his jacket and put his notebook down. "You alright?" Luke furrowed his brows and looked over to Ashton who sat down on the couch, staring straight in front of him.

"Yeah, it's just Lexi." He said, taking a hand through his hair. "Never mind, let's get to work." He sighed, reaching for his notebook and staring at the lines he had written yesterday before they ended their session. The boys all quietly got their stuff and Luke softly started playing a nice guitar riff.
