The Jealous Ex

Richard was currently waiting for Danny at a cafe, Danny had texted Richard saying he was being held up by traffic. Richard waited outside the cafe for Danny, he checked the time on his phone just before someone ran into him. Richard stumbled a little but he managed to regain his footing before he fell and he looked around.

A guy with blonde hair had run into him, before Richard could say anything he got up and walked away looking very pissed off. Richard was beyond confused but he didn't get to think about it for long, Danny finally got there seconds after the guy walked away. Richard smiled when he saw Danny, "So you finally made it through traffic."

Danny smiled a little, "Trust me I would have avoided it if I could have."

Richard laughed a little and held Danny's hand, the two walked into the cafe and got drinks at the counter before sitting at a table. The two talked and laughed for a bit before someone turned up the small TV in the cafe and it caught their attention. "The mysterious hero that showed up almost two weeks ago hasn't been sighted again after a civilian reported seeing him talking to Nightwing."

"Some people speculate that the two may be working together, others don't believe that to be the case. Whatever the case people are waiting for news on this mysterious hero and whether he's a friend or another menace."

Richard looked at Danny, "Stories like that seem to be everywhere lately."

Danny nodded, "Only two sightings of this guy and he gets more attention then Nightwing. Personally I don't get why everyone is so interested in him, I think Nightwing's a lot cooler."

Richard couldn't help but smirk when he heard that, "Oh really?"

Danny shrugged, "I'll admit, he's hot, though your pretty hot too."

Richard blushed when Danny said that, he'd heard plenty of people say that about Nightwing but hearing Danny say it made him flustered. Danny smiled when he saw the look on Richard's face, he thought it was cute whenever Richard blushed. After the two were done with their drinks they left the cafe and headed to the nearby mall, Richard had insisted on taking Danny shopping.

They walked into a clothing store and Danny was hesitant to even consider buying anything. Richard soon noticed and looked at Danny, "What's wrong?"

Danny hesitated, "I don't usually do stuff like this, I just..." He sighed, "It's hard to explain."

Richard looked a little worried and held Danny's hand, "Danny, it's okay, if you don't like it here or you want to do something else we can."

Danny looked surprised and when he finally looked Richard in the eye the hero smiled, Danny smiled back and Richard kissed Danny. Danny finally looked happy for the first time since they walked into the store and Richard was glad. The moment was promptly ruined by Danny's phone ringing and he looked a bit annoyed before taking it out of his pocket.

He looked at the screen and it was an unknown number, he looked confused and walked a few feet away from Richard before answering it. "Hello?"

"Hey Danny."

Danny froze before he got angry, "Why are you calling me, and how did you even get my number?"

The person on the other end ignored his questions, "Who's the guy your with?"

"That's none of your business."

"You don't seriously like that guy do you?"

"I do actually."

"Oh come on, he's just some pretty boy you met at a bar."

Danny was absolutely pissed now, he crushed his phone in his hand, Richard noticed and immediately ran over. "Danny, what's wrong, what happened?" Danny looked at his now crushed phone, he hadn't meant to do that, he let it go and Richard looked concerned. "You cut your hand."
