"Only 30 minutes left" you thought to yourself, your mind all over the place. What did he mean by "another job"? Until now, you always thought Hobi was truthful with you, but should you really be letting a guy who you already know is a huge asshole make your paranoid about your boyfriend who you trust? You were taken from your thoughts by Jin cleaning the table next you.

"That guys really got to you hasn't he?"

"Kinda" you replied, clearing the table in front of you.

"Don't let him. You've already told me in the past that guys a dick, why would hobi lie to you?"

"I know, I'm being stupid" you sighed.

"Yeah, you are" Jin replied
You turned to him giving him a death glare.

"You said it, not me" Jin said laughing as he headed into the back room. You followed him, checking your phone hoping to see a text from hobi. But there was nothing. This was the longest you hadn't heard off him for a while, the last time was when he was on a family holiday and had no phone signal. You were kind of worried, he'd seemed really stressed recently. Placing your phone back into your pocket, your boss approached you and said you were welcome to leave early because the cafe was quiet. You decided to wait outside until you're actual leaving time, incase Hobi pulled up to give you a ride home like usual. But he didn't. Walking home you started to over think everything, especially about the argument that happened the other night. Was this why he wasn't contacting you? But he was fine last night you thought. The walk home was only about 15 minutes. Entering your apartment, you saw your mum using her laptop whilst some dull tv drama played on the TV.

"How was work?" Your mum chirped.

"Probably not as good as your work was, you seem happy about something" you replied taking a seat next to her. Because of your mums illness, she worked at home from her online business selling jewellery.

"One customer brought over 30 pairs of earrings today" she said smiling. She looked up at you at noticed you looked unhappy.

"Your day wasn't good?" She said placing her laptop to one side. "I can tell by the look on your face"

"It wasnt work. It's hobi. I haven't heard off him all day. I'm just kinda worried" you said looking down.

"Don't worry, y/n. You guys are fine right?"

"Yeah we're good" you decided not to mention the argument you guys had because it just seemed pointless.

"He'll get in touch soon, maybe his phones just broken or he's busy with his new job" she reassured you. "But as you're not feeling good and I have abit of extra money, how about take out and a film?" Your mum asked.

"Sounds perfect". And it was. You ate way too much and watched a crappy romcom that you and your mum had watched too many times before. After the film finished your mum asked how you were feeling now. You told her you were feeling better, the film had distracted you from your phone and thoughts for a while. After your mum went to bed, you decided to go for a shower. The warm water was exactly what you needed to relax. But before you could, you heard your phone ringing from the kitchen. You quickly turned the shower off, stepping out and grabbing a towel before running to the kitchen. It was Hobi.

"Look who decided to get hold of his girlfriend" you answered before the phone call rang off.

"Hey baby" hobi said.

"Is that it? I've been worried sick all day and all I get is "hey baby"? You questioned.

"Calm down y/n let me finish my sentence" he chuckled. "I've been working all day and left my phone at home by accident. I'm sorry I got you worrying" he said.

"So why have you only just rung now? It's 11 and you finished at 4:30?" You felt weird about this.

"When I got home, my dad had his work colleagues coming round and he asked if I could help make dinner for them. Then I joined the meal and just chatted away with them all night. I'm so sorry I should of just text to tell you"

You felt weird. You don't know why but something didn't feel right. You stayed silent not knowing what to say.

"Y/n?"

"It's okay. You shouldn't feel bad for being busy" you replied quickly. But actually, deep down you weren't sure how you felt. Hobi never cooked dinner for his dad in the past, his cooking was awful as you had experienced many times before.

"I still should of atleast text you, but I'll make it up to you. I finish work at 4:30 tomorrow, I'll pick you up at 5 from the cafe, bring you back to your place to get ready then I want to take you some fancy restaurant that I probably can't afford" he laughed. "Sound good?"

You wanted to ask about what Tony had said to you in the cafe, but you thought perhaps it would be better to talk to him about it face to face.

"I mean if you're paying I won't complain" you said jokingly.

"Of course I'm paying baby, I'll see you tomorrow then?"

"See you tomorrow Hobi"
