Bakugo hated the cheapness of life. He hated how people with less money were looked down upon. He hated how good instant noodles tasted. He hated his commute from work back home and how every floor board in his apartment creaked with every step. He hated the way people on the streets looked at him when he started limping late into the night. But most of all, he hated Todoroki.
The man who had killed his spirit and whole reason for being. Yet, why was such a man living next to him in such terrible conditions when he could have the world? Why did he refuse to leave Bakugo, the one man who hated him most in the world?
Love was a strange, strange thing.

Bakugo began banging on Todoroki's door, not letting up once until the man answered. He knew he would be sleeping this late into the night, but he had no choice in the matter. Damn landlady.
"Who...?" Todoroki trailed off, eyes widening when he saw Bakugo. It had been one week since they crossed paths. Ever since they moved in together they had never been apart for so long.
"Let me in," Bakugo pushed, sliding inside as Todoroki closed the door behind him."Water is out at my place and the landlady refuses to call anybody to get it fixed until tomorrow. Gimme your bath."
"Sure," Todoroki fumbled."Uh..."
He led Bakugo into his bathroom, explaining how things worked like Bakugo didn't have an identical one next door."There are towels over here. You can use any of my products if you want, and clothes-"
"Are you blind?" Bakugo growled."I live right next door, of course I brought my own shit. You don't need to pamper me."
Todoroki just stood there, shocked, and then nodded and moved away so Bakugo could do what he wanted.
Bakugo let out an angry sigh, prepping his bath while rinsing himself off. Everything about being in this guys domain was suffocating, and he wanted to get out as soon as possible. The urge to investigate further, find out what type of products Todoroki used, and figure what color towels he had was overwhelming, swallowing Bakugo into a hazy sense of thought.
He hated him. His legs were proof of his hatred. Todoroki should be repenting, not sprouting confessions left and right.
Would he do this for anyone he hurt? Was this is penitence? No, Bakugo refused to accept Todoroki was that low. He was better then that. Bakugo wasn't that lowly of a case.
Catching where his thoughts were inevitably going, Bakugo smashed his hand into the wall next to the shower head, knowing bruise definitely forming on his hand.
"Bakugo?!" Todoroki called from outside, far too close to the bathroom."Are you okay?!"
He rushed the door open in a panic just in time to see Bakugo crushing his hand against the wall again. Naked Bakugo. Fully naked Bakugo. Fully naked, dripping wet Bakugo.
Bakugo watched Todoroki's face turn scarlet as his eyes just couldn't seem to leave him.
Ah, shit. He really is in love, isn't he?
"Ah, sorry." Todoroki tried to brush off his mad blushing."Is everything alright? Is you hand okay?"
He was looking away now, face still flushed and Bakugo felt his own want to follow."Don't do that," Bakugo strained, voice cracking a bit as he tried to contain everything building up inside him.
"Do what?" Todoroki asked back, slowly making his way out of the bathroom.
A painful grimace reached Bakugo's face as he attempted to smirk and show that he wasn't effected by Todoroki."Don't look at me as if you're in love with me."
"But I am." And then Todoroki shined upon him one of the most precious smiles, something small and just for him.
But he was effected by him, and desperately so.

Todoroki had decided long ago that his home was wherever Bakugo was.
All alone with no goals or dreams, Todoroki decided to follow the first person he saw. Head strong and driven Bakugo was nothing he expected and slowly Todoroki found his own goals and dreams. He fell in love with Bakugo and wanted him to feel the same.
But Bakugo was tricky, and even as Todoroki spent years with him he never knew what to expect out of the man. Tapping into his emotions was equally confusing as he hid anything true underneath a thick layer of anger and contempt. No matter how hard Todoroki tried he couldn't tell if his feelings were recuperated or not.
Still, he would continue loving Bakugo no matter what.

"-thought you already handled them, so why am I hearing shit about them dropping out?!" Bakugo yelled into his phone, irritation growing. He walked into the convenience store, instantly noticing Todoroki as he picked up a basket at the front of the store.
The icyhot mess was looking through some pre-made bento's with his usual deep contemplation as he drowned out everything else around him to focus only on such a mundane task.
"Don't give me that bullshit. Get this flaming crap figured out now or we're gonna lose an important client!"
Bakugo came up behind Todoroki, knowing the man noticed him from his usual loud phone calls. The other glanced over at him in question.
Bakugo put the phone away from his ear."We're eating at my place tonight. Don't touch that shit," he murmured, then going back to yell into his phone some more.
Whenever Bakugo said that, it meant they were going to eat actual home cooked food. He only did so when something good happened, so Todoroki could only wonder what had Bakugo in such a bright mood.
Bakugo must've already bought the ingredients from the grocery store, so Todoroki followed Bakugo as he picked up some beer and motioned for Todoroki to get whatever he wanted. Todoroki's eyes widened at that and he stumbled to grab his favorite drink. Bakugo had never offered to buy him anything, it was always the other way around.
"No, are you even thinking properly?" Bakugo shouted into his phone."Did your mom drop you on your head as a kid or something?!"
The man at the counter looked frightened, but Bakugo payed properly for everything without even a glance at Todoroki. Bakugo's mood was incredibly strange, Todoroki still didn't know what to think.
Todoroki snapped out of his trance, noticing Bakugo was already out the door. He jumped and quickened after him, turning right after exiting and finding Bakugo standing and waiting for him.
"Bakugo...?" Todoroki couldn't help but breathe."Why are you...?"
Because Bakugo would never wait for him, he was somebody who never looked back.
Bakugo just stared at Todoroki, something strange in his gaze as he pulled his phone away from his ear, leaning towards Todoroki whose breath hitched as he got closer and closer, time seeming to slow. Then Bakugo kissed him, chaste yet pushing Todoroki roughly to the point where he felt his knees tremble as a shot of sudden pleasure rode through him.
Pulling away, Bakugo turned around and put his phone back up to his ear."If you pull any shit like this again, you're through, ya here me!" he yelled into it."This ain't preschool, your mom cant bail you outta everything!"
Todoroki touched his fingers to his lips, a smile electing across his face. It was just as he had thought...
Amazing.
