The boy in the woods ~ Thiam

Chappie 2

I'm pretty sure I passed out. I "woke" up being carried into the clinic. 

"I'm sorry but the sign says close—" Deaton stops looking at the sight in front of him walking out from the back room

"Hi.." I say innocently

"Bring him back" Deaton laughs shaking his head. Theo followed him to the examination room.

"Seat him here" Deaton tells Theo patting the table. 

"So what happend now, Liam" Deaton asked taking a look at my leg, patting the table motioning for me the put it up. 

"Well you see..." I say attempting to swing my leg up but failing miserably. Theo noticed and helped me gently. I swear this guy will be the death of me.

"I was in the woods, and I got the distracted then next thing you know I'm lost. So I took a few steps to figure out were I had ended up and then again next thing I know I have stepped into a bear trap." I explain laughing nervously here and there. "Anyway," I continued regaining myself, "I was stuck for awhile until Theo found me and helped me out. After being out for some time I wasn't healing what so ever, so I told Theo the bring me here. And I'm pretty sure I passed out at some point on the way." 

"No, you DID pass out" Theo joking corrected.

"Alright then, I will just take a look and try to help" Deaton smiled sympathetically.  He starting to examined it touching it caused me the whimper a few times. 

"Well it seems like the trap must have been laced with wolfsbane" Deaton told me.

"But I didn't feel like there was any wolfbane" I said questioningly. 

"Well I seems as though it must has been a small form of it only taking away your healing" Deaton responded. "And Liam the way to get the wolfsbane out is with fire" Deaton frowned. 

"Fuun" I said throwing my head back.

"Okay Theo I'm going to need your help, can you hold Liam down for me" Deaton ordered. Theo responded pushing me down by the shoulders.

"And I think just the be safe we should use these" Deaton said holding up restraints. I just rolled my eyes in response. He pinned my wrists down and areas on my legs. "Theo I don't know how well these will hold so just keep him down, your best please" Deaton said. Theo just responded by holding me down  with even more force. "Alright, Liam this is going to hurt. A lot" Deaton said "Ready?"

"Yep" I said and I'm pretty sure everyone could hear my heart skip a beat.

And yes Deaton was right It hurt like a bitch. I probably looked like a little girl having a tantrum on steroids. I could just feel the tears staining my cheeks. But I don't care right now. 

"Alright I'm done" Deaton said stopping.

I just laid on the table, after the restraints being taken off, all sweaty and exhausted. My eyes burned from my tears and my leg still stung. 

"It should start healing in 5-7 hours considering the amount off wolfbane was in there for how long" Deaton told me. fun. "Theo if you can I would like you the watch over him until he heals, just to make sure he is all good" Deaton said looking up at Theo.

"It all good, I can do it" Theo smiled looking back at me.

"Alright kiddos I need sleep" Deaton said leaving the room.

"You need some help there still?" Theo asked looking at my current state. 

"Yeah" I semi laughed extremely tired. He picked me up bridal style and went outside so Deaton could lock up.

 "So where is your house?" Theo asked walking out into the parking lot. I gave him my address and he carried me home and I fell asleep at some point in between. i don't know why but i felt safe in his arms.
