All the raindrops from my eyes
Would fall

Why can't we hold hands
Why can't we say what we want
Why can't we share a laugh or two
Why we can't we learn to live in love
I'm lying here
Wishing you were beside me
I'm sighing here
Wishing you and I were free
Wishes are just wishes
Words matter most
"I love you."
Something better than anything
I want
Need
To hear you
Wishing I was here too
Wishing we were more
Wishing we were always by each other
Wishing I was as sure as you
Wishing I could hold you forever
Wishing I could see you smile
One more time
But if wishes were kisses
You'd be here
And so would I
