The summer vacations are almost over and, normally, I don't like going back to school but since I bet Daina, I got a diferente point of view. Yeah, cal me cheesy and all, but I'm really enjoying spending time with her. We have been talking trough our windows and sometimes we went out for a cup of coffee or even just a walk. It's been a good two and a half weeks.

I woke up, showered ang got dressed quickly. The classes and schedules were being shown at school today! When I went downstairs to get my cereals and milk, my mom came downstairs as well still half-asleep.

"Miles? What are you doing up so early? Go back to sleep please." She said putting her hand on her forehead. "Come back down when the sun rises okay?"

Maybe I'm a little too ansious... I opened my room blinders to see if Diana was up but I just found her room with the lights off, and.. empty? Maybe she fel asleep on the.. couch?

Later, I took my mom's car and went to see the schedules, YES! Me, Ethn and Diana have like basically every class togheter. I was going to cal Ethan first but then.. "Hey Diana! I just-"

"M..Mi..Miles.." I heard her mumble on the other side of the line.

"Diana? Are.. Are you okay? What.. What happened?"

"I.. I don't know. I was sleeping in my room but then.. I started feeling cold and when I oppened my eyes, I was in.. the middle of.. trees? Like, a lot of trees."

"I.. might know where you are. I'm coming." I say walking to my car. "Please hurry." She said as she hang up.

I got in the car the fastest I could. She was in the park. It was the only place in town that has a lot of trees. It's a giant place that has a kids playground in the beginning, a few benches were the elderly usually sit to feed the pigeons and after that, a big labyrinth followed by a forest.

When I got there, I ran out of my car to the labyrinth. I've been coming here since I was a kid so I know the labyrinth by heart but this time, I was so worried that I couldn't concentrate. After a few tries, I finally got out and started calling Diana. A couple minutes later, I heard her calling me back multiple times as I followed her voice. I found her sitting against a tree all covered in mud.

"Are you okay? Are you hurt? How.. how did you get here?" I say as I fell to my knees to be next to her. "I.. I don't know! I woke up with a giant light on my room and when I tried to get close to it.. I heard people talking but then, I woke up here!" She says really confused.

"A.. a.. a light?"

"uh, yeah.. I'm sorry if I sound crazy but it's all I can remember." She sighs. "Hey,it's okay." I say as I take her into my arms. "I'll take you back home, okay?"

"Yeah.. Thanks, Miles."
