"Honey? Wake up!" I heard my mom call me from downstairs. "We're going to meet the neighbors!"

Why now? We just moved, it's Saturday morning, the neighbors are probably sleeping and don't care about who lives next to them.

"C'mon hun, get dressed." My mom said as she opened the blinds. "Mom!!" I mumble covering my eyes with the pillow. "We're leaving in 5." She said.

I rolled my eyes and got ready to go downstairs. I passed trough the kitchen and grabbed a cookie from the top cabinet and went to the door.

"Hold the cake, I'll take the casket." My mom said as my dad held the cake. "Hunny, is this all really necessary?" He asked. "We don't need to befriend everyone on this town."

I giggled as my little sister ran down the stairs and jumped into my arms. "Hey Daisy." I smile as I spin her and then put her down. "I wanna go to sleep, mommy." Daisy said rubbing her eyes as she went to grab my dad's hand.

We went over to the door next door and my mom rang on the doorbell. We waited a while until a woman in her robe, opened the door. "Good morning!" My mom said. "We're the new neighbors!"
"Oh hi!" The woman smiled and then turned around and shouted. "Miles!! Come meet the neighbors!"

I started to hear someone coming down the stairs and then I saw who it was. It was a boy, probably my age, still sleepy with brown messy hair that went to stand next to his mother.

"Good morning." He mumbled as he rubbed his eyes. My mom started presenting us. "So, my name is Mary, this is my husband Daniel, and my daughters: Daisy and Diana." The woman nodded and proceeded to do the same. "I'm Anna and this is my son, Miles."

Our eyes met and we both smiled at each other. His eyes were simply brown but.. I don't know they are just mesmerizing..

"Come in, come in." The nice woman said giving space for us to pass. Our parents went to talk to the kitchen and my sister just stood there next to my dad, almost falling asleep.

Me and Miles? We just stood by the door..
