Chapter 15 - Hiccup's house

After school, as promised, Astrid went to Hiccup's house. Hiccup opened the door and went in.

"Mom. I'm home. I brought my friend here." He called out as he let Astrid in.

"Oh hi dear. Come in." Valka came out from the kitchen and greeted Astrid.

"Mom, this is Astrid. Astrid, my mom." He said and sighed. "Hi." Astrid smiled.

"Okay. Time's up. Let's go upstairs." He dragged Astrid upstairs and went into his room.

Hiccup closed the door and put his bag. "Okay. Now. May I please have my book back? For the last time I ask you. Oh Thor I'm tired."

"Not before you explain this." Astrid pulled out the paper and smiled.

"Fine. It was just a note I wrote last 2 or 3 days. Why does it gets so important to you right now?" Hiccup raised his voice.

"Because I spot my name on it. I want you to read and explain all this. Now." Astrid gave him the paper and he reach out to take it.

He stared at her and sighed. "Why don't you just read it on your own?"

He took a deep breath and started talking.

"I was at school when I first saw that girl. She was so charmy and gorgeous. I've never seen those blue eyes as beautiful and sparkling like hers." He look at her and she stared at him. He continued to read. "The blonde hair she has, matches her bright, red clothes. I felt something in my heart that I could never explain. I just love the way she is. I-"

Hiccup stopped reading and went silent. Astrid raised an eyebrow. "Mind continuing it?" She smirked.

"Look. The point is-" "Would you just continue it?" Astrid cut off his speech.

"Fine!" He shouted. "I just wanna say that I like you, Astrid Hofferson! You happy now? Huh?"

Astrid smiled. "Nice speech." She crossed her arms and stood up. Hiccup walked to the window and look out.

"I- I can't help it. I just like you. More than that. I fell in love with you. I don't know what you feel, but. Ugh. Forget it. Sorry I made you freaked out." He said, leaning beside the window.

Astrid took out his book and give it back to him.

"I have to go now." She said giving his book back. Then, she punched his shoulder and leave.

"Ouch." Hiccup rub his shoulder and turn to her, sighing.
