A few weeks after, Hiccup asked Astrid out for a little walk after lunch and she said yes.
"You ready yet?" Hiccup knock the door and she opened it. She dressed like usual, still with her braided hair on the side.
"So, where are we going?" She asked.
Hiccup smirked and said, "That's a surprise." Astrid groaned and rolled her eyes.

Hiccup lead her to a grassy meadow with a big view of the city. Where the birds flew above them and wind blew cool breezes.
Astrid ran across and start scaring the birds. Hiccup grinned then reached out his hand to hold hers.
"You scared them." He said and she laughed.
Hiccup found a perfect spot to sit and sat there. "Come on, sit here." Astrid sat beside him and place her head on his shoulders.

"This is beautiful. Thank you." She said as she start to close her eyes. Hiccup nodded and place his head upon hers.
He picked up a little flower and twirl it. Astrid saw him and smiled. Hiccup look at her and glance at the flower. Then, he gave it to her and wrapped his arms around her.
Astrid took the little flower and lean on his body. She stared at the flower and turn to him.
Hiccup smiled at her and gave her a kiss on her forehead. They lay down on the grass.

It was silence. The only thing they could hear was the birds, singing and chirping.
"Hiccup?"
Hiccup turn to Astrid and said, "Yeah?" He rolled to her side and sat down.
"I love you." She look up at him.
"I love you too." He said.
