The next day, Hiccup went to school and sat as usual. He waited for Astrid to come and pulled out his book.
He tried to draw Astrid.
Finally she came and sat down at her place. Hiccup smiled and waved at her.
She look at him and smiled, placing her books on the table.

As the lesson starts, they took notes of the equation the teacher gave. "Would anyone of you like to try to solve this problem?"
Snotlout stood up proudly and try to solve. "Heh. Show off." Ruff poke Tuff and rolled her eyes. Tuff nodded.
The teacher checked, "What is this? Do you understand this? It's so simple and you just got it wrong. Hiccup." She called him and he look up. "I want you to solve this."

Hiccup stood up and solve. The teacher checked and he got it right. "Thank you, Hiccup." He smiled and went back.
'He is good.' Astrid thought and smiled at him.
While Snotlout gave him a glare.
He return to his seat and continue taking notes while drawing. Suddenly, the teacher erased the equation and start to write a new note.
Astrid sighed. "Damn! I was just about to write it." She mumbled.

The bell rang and everyone went out for lunch. Hiccup was about to go out when Astrid stopped him.
"Hey genius! May I please borrow your book? I need to complete something." She smiled.
"W- genius? Am not a genius. And yeah sure. But why would you need my book? I mean, there's a lot of people here." He said, taking his book and lend it to her.
"Because you're the genius, genius." She laughed. He rolled his eyes and shook his head.
As she copied, she notice there are some drawings that looks like her.
"I'm done. Is this me?" She ask. Hiccup's eyes widened and bit his lower lip. He forgot about that.

"Uhm. I- Ugh. Yeah." He said nervously as he took the book.
Astrid grinned and covered her face, laughing.
"What? Is it bad?" He smirked and put his book on the table.
Astrid shook her head and laugh. "It was good. I can't believe you're drawing me. What happen to you?" She laughed. "You should come to my house sometime and teach me."
Hiccup rolled his eyes. "Gee thanks. Very funny." He shook his head.
"No kidding. I'm serious. It's good." Astrid wipe her tears of laughter.
"Yeah, yeah. Okay. What about tonight?" He asked.
"Tonight will be great." She smiled.
