Taeyong's POV

I left the house the next morning in my school uniform but had packed some extra clothes in my bag to change into, which I did as soon as I reached the nearest shopping mall and changed in the toilets.

I took out my phone and searched for the nearest gym, which was luckily only a 5 minutes walk away. I put away my phone and pulled up my hood just in case there were other kids skipping school and they might see me. I walked at a fast pace and was about one minute away from my destination when I spotted a familiar head.

Jungwoo.

"What's he doing?" I hissed to myself and ducked behind a bush.

He was across the road, walking by himself. I bounced on my feet, wondering if I should make a run for it or follow him.

I decided to follow him.

I crossed the road and walked at a slower pace behind him, praying he wouldn't turn around.

He entered a shop and I waited outside, praising myself for wearing something with a hood so I wouldn't be caught so easily. I sighed and took out my phone after what felt like ages, what was taking him so long?

Suddenly he walked out holding a bag and my heart started to beat faster as I began to follow him again. I had no idea where he was going, I wasn't familiar with this part of town.

He turned the corner and when I followed after him a few seconds later I was greeted with a dead end. Suddenly I was grabbed and pushed roughly against the wall.

"Why are you following me?" Jungwoo hissed, his other hand pulled down my hood roughly.

I blinked up at him in shock and couldn't manage to get any words out.

"Taeyong?" his lips twisted into a smile. "Are you my stalker?"

"I..."

His face came closer, our noses were almost touching and a strange noise made its way out my mouth.

"Nervous?" he whispered, his breath hitting my nose - it smelt of alcohol. He dropped the bag he was holding, the sound of bottles clunking together followed.

"Were you buying alcohol?" I flickered my eyes to his cheek so that I wouldn't become too stressed out by his piercing gaze.

He ignored me. "Strange... either I've drunk too much or you're looking extra pretty today."

I blushed and moved my eyes to his.

"If I'm honest Taeyong... I really want to fu-" he hiccuped and moved his head away, a hand covering his mouth.

His voice was slurring, making it difficult for me to understand him but I pressed him further.

"You really want to what?"

"Never mind." he picked up the bag and took out a bottle. "Want some?"

I shook my head. "I don't drink."

He laughed. "Why not? It's so much fun!"

He spread his arms out and started twirling around crazily. He stumbled slightly and I caught him before his body hit the ground.

I groaned under his weight and slumped to the ground with him in my arms.

I felt my phone vibrate and pulled it out to see a text from Jaehyun. I glanced at Jungwoo quickly before opening up the chat.

Jeffrey:

Jungwoo's not at school today

Taeil and Jisung look so lost, it's hilarious

I closed my phone and groaned once again as Jungwoo shifted, his elbow hitting my crotch painfully. If only Jaehyun knew what predicament I was in right now.

"Jungwoo." I shook him, watching as he turned his face upwards.

His eyes were closed and mouth slightly parted. He slowly opened his eyes, blinking up at me cutely.

Cutely? I mentally slapped myself for thinking such a thing.

"Taeyong... I'm sleepy." he giggled. "Let me sleep..."

"Jungwoo, we're out in public right now, you can't sleep." I hissed and shook him again.

A whine left his mouth before his arm reached up and landed on the back of my neck, pulling my face down to his.

He kept his eyes open when my lips landed on his. I tried to pull away, a squeal leaving my lips but he only took that opportunity to stick his tongue into my mouth.

"Mmm mmf!" I shook my head wildly but he still managed to keep our lips together.

"Your lips taste like cherry." he smiled when he finally let me go.

I thanked Jaehyun silently for buying me cherry flavoured lip balm.

"W-why'd you kiss me?" I asked as he finally sat up.

"Felt like it." he shrugged.

Oh if only I could do things just because I 'felt like it', I sighed loudly at his avoidant answer.

"I'm leaving." he suddenly pouted and stood up shakily. "I was supposed to be meeting Lucas but I somehow ended up here with you."

"Wait! Aren't you going to say anything about the ki-" I shouted after him but my voice trailed off when he stumbled around the corner and disappeared from my sight.

I slowly put a hand up to my lips, staring blankly as my fingers trailed across the spot that Jungwoo's lips were on just minutes ago.

I'd gotten what I wanted but why did I feel so disappointed?

He'd just left me, without any explanation, without any words of reassurance such as 'Taeyong you're pretty cool and since we kissed we can be friends now.'

I pulled my hood back up and stood up before walking back the way I came to the gym.

Time to put my plan into action.
