CRYSTAL POV

"Genesis what the fuck happened." I said as she let me in her apartment. "Ivy fucking happened I'm just glad the kids ain't here. Come on." She pulled my hand and I followed her to her room. I saw Jacob on the floor bleeding out his legs. "What the fuck my brother!" I yelled I flung on the floor held him. "He hit me Crystal I ain't know what to do. He was hurting me." I looked up at Genesis she was crying. Her eye was black as shit. "Jacob are you serious." I looked at him. "Crystal I was just mad." He claimed. "Fuck that." I got up away from him. "We need to get those bullets out his legs and tie me up. You a nurse bitch you know what to do." I told Gen. She nodded.

COUPLE HOURS LATER

We had Jacob on medication and laying in the bed. "Gen I'm sorry." He said as she was elevating his legs. I watched as Gen was helping him. She still loved him but I can't believe my own blood would do this to my best friend, his fiancé. She takes care of Kenny like she birthed that lil boy. And he just takes her for granted.

Me and Gen went in the bathroom and helped heal her eye. "You need to leave him Gen. Even if he is my brother." I told her. "I am bitch. Trust me. My mama always told me never let a man put his hands on you." She said looking at her self in the mirror. "You so strong." I hugged her. I sat on the sink. "Where the kids at anyway?" I asked her. She sat on the toilet. "They're at Kevin house." She said. "He's getting better with this parenting stuff huh?" I laughed. "Hell yea. He said he let ole girl come see the lil boy when she wants. That's what I like about Kevin he doesn't hold people to their wrong doings." She put her head in her hands. "Its just so much going on. Taking care of three kids. If I was with Ace. Life would be so easier right now. I wouldn't be with this mark on my face. He always treated me right. Other than cheating on me." She started to cry. "I miss him Crystal." I patted her back. "I know. I know. You gotta tell him this. Why you over here telling me." I teased. "Girl shutup."

GENESIS POV

"Ima stay here with y'all tonight." Crystal offered. "Thank you." I hugged her. "Let me go check on that nigga Jacob see what he doing." She said. I nodded and went in the living room. I laid back on the couch. While I was daydreaming I heard my apartment buzzer buzz. I walked over in the hallway where it was. "Who is it?" I asked. "Ace." He sounded mad. I buzzed him in. I opened my apartment door. I didn't want him to see my face. He came up the stairs and walked in. I pretended I was doing something in the kitchen I didn't want to look at him. "What the fuck Tailan doing at that nigga Kev house?" He snapped. "How you know she over there?" I asked washing the dishes. My back facing him. "Don't worry bout allat. He over there playing daddy to my child and shit huh?" I wanted to turn around so bad. I ain't say nun. "Genesis!" He snapped.

I turned around and looked him in the eyes. "SHES OVER THERE BECAUSE ITS A LOT GOING ON RIGHT NOW ACE!" I raised my voice. He walked over to me. "Fuck happened to yo face?" He asked me. "Gen!" I heard Crystal call walking down the hall. "Nothing." I moved his hand off my face. "That nigga hit you didn't he?" He asked me. I ain't say nun. "Hey Ace. Why you here?" Crystal asked with her hand on her face. "Where yo bitch ass brother at?" Ace was heated. I reached for his hand "Ace please go home." A tear ran down from my eye. "Nah fuck that. You coming with me. You and Tailan." He said walking down the hall. "Where her room at?" He asked. "Ace please." "LETS GO PACK YO SHIT NOW!" He yelled. "Crystal can you help him pack the kids stuff while I get mine." Crystal looked at me deeply and nodded. I went to my room and saw Jacob sitting up. "Genesis. Baby please don't leave me, I love you baby." He tried to explain. "If you loved me you wouldn't have done this." I said sternly as I packed everything I needed. "Gen he waiting outside for you." Crystal said at the doorway. "I'll call you later on." I told her. She nodded.

ACE POV

"Get in I got it." I took Gen bag and put it in the trunk with the other bags. I'm so heated I can't believe a nigga hit my bitch. I hopped in the car. "You good now. I got you." I told her. She was looking at me then she started crying. "What? What's wrong?" I asked touching her face. "I love you Kordell. I love you so much." Tears rolling down her cheek. "Come here." I pulled her chin to me and kissed her tongue and all.
