Snowflakes

Snowflakes.

Consider the snowflakes,

As the world drifts cold,

They twirl and somersault,

Depicting ice induced beauty,

Snow topped earth,

Brings frozen nights,

And fire warmed homes,

Soft winter dreams,

Does the child's eyes behold,

Frames of ice,

Are not shown in good light,

Snapped and sharpened,

Hung as decor for paths,

For men whom are calloused,

Heart hardened with stone,

Are seen as ice,

Cold as snow,

How can such a diamond,

Be soiled by such thoughts?

Was it not for the smiles,

That snowmen were born?

Shivers erupt,

From fresh clean skin,

Forced to hear twisted words,

Clenched are their teeth,

As they are tied down with ropes,

While beauty is defiled and corrupt,

Ice and snow,

Crystal and flakes,

Ice-rings and smiles,

Are all of winter gems,

Yet associated with anger,

Blood boiling and rage,

Spoiled and rotting,

As meanings are contorted.

Wonderland is always ruined by the Red Queen.
