"Nope, nope. Marie no." Oh, c'mon you'll be fine. They're all really nice." I said no." Please, Char. You need to get some more friends besides me." I'm fine, thank you very much." No, you're going and that's final." Nope, I'm not going. I refuse."

I am sitting in that back of the bowling place eating cheese fries, Marie is having a great time with those people. I couldn't care less about any of them. I really just want to go home and watch Netflix with my dog.

A group of boys walks in after me sitting by myself for ten minutes. They all look similar, they must be related. Before I look away from them, I catch a pair of eyes looking at me from the group of boys.

Is that Milo? Nah.

"Charlie!! It's your turn!"

I didn't even know she added my name to the game.

I get up and walk over, I bend over carefully making sure I don't show anything that does not need to be seen. I grab the lightest bowling ball there is. I look over and glare at Marie. I just throw the ball and of course, I don't knock over any pins. Great. Now I have to go again. The bowling ball comes back and I pick it up and before I can throw the ball, someone says, "Wait."

Who in the world, I turn to see Milo walking towards me. So that was him, interesting.

"Here, let me show you."Oh, y-you don't have to."

Did I just stutter, UGH.

Ew. No.

This means nothing, nothing at all.

I look up and I see Marie smiling at me while leaning against Chase. You may not realize it but, Chase is moderately tall. He's a tall piece of celery.

I talk to her through my eyes, " This means nothing." Chase looks as if he's glaring at Milo. I may not eat so I don't know much about it meat but I can smell beef from a mile away.

Milo walks up to me and I'm honestly really confused. He grabs my hand, "Here, this is how you're supposed to do it you. " He just helps me hold the bowling ball the correct way.

This is the most cliche thing to ever happen to me, my god.

So I roll the bowling ball and I get a strike. I literally jump so high and I give him a hug due to my excitement. He hugs me back and I realize what I had just done. Can you un-hug someone? Well, I guess I did.

I cough-"Uh Thanks uh Milo." No problem." He begins to walk away and I walk toward Marie. I hear Chase say, "Milo." Milo smirks and walks away from an annoyed Chase. Marie gives me a hug while whispering," Coming here wasn't such a bad idea after all." She smirks. I lightly hit her. " Oh shut up! He was just helping me. What we really need to talk about is you and Chase." I give her a look. She blushes," We're just friends, Charlie." I do catch her whisper, " At least till he asks me out." Sureeee, I'm going to go get another drink, want one?" Yeah, a coke." "Okay."

I walk and I see Milo and his group of friends and I immediately turn around. I go back to where Marie and the others are. Marie frowns. "Where's my coke?" Uh, the machine was being cleaned." Oh-" Then a girl holding a large Coke walks past us,"Hey Charlie how does she-" Uh I have to study for a History test, I gotta go. See you later." Wait-" I quickly hug a confused Marie and run away.

I sit outside till Felix gets here.

Felix gets to where I am in about 20 minutes. I guess mom let him use the surban, and I see he has a couple of friends with him and one new guy. He has all the windows and the sunroof down, no surprise.
