A Few Months later in December.

I still haven't talked to Maire since we saw her at the mall. I've been really focused on my studying and today is the last day of midterms. I run through the doors since we got out early. I wore my pajamas to school because no one can say I can't.

My mom is waiting in the parking lot for me and Butter is with her. " Hey! Mom!! I'm finally out! Drive!" Woah, slow your roll child. I still have to go back to work so I arranged for you to go home with a client whose kid also goes to this school."

"Mom, you know I don't really like people." My mom's hands reach for her face, tucking  a piece of hair behind my ear." I know, I know. But I think you'll like him. His name is Milo, He likes to read-" Hold on, did you say, Milo? Milo Garcia?" Yeah, do you know him?" Yeah, he came over to swi-" Her hands go in the air and come back down. " Yes! There's no backing out now.  We're going to their house at two." I glare at my mom and she laughs at me and drives off.

I play Helix jump till I see a drive-thru in my view and I immediately sit up to order myself a milkshake. My mom is one of those healthy people who order a salad. I look at my attire and for the first time, I don't want to be in my pajamas. We pull into the back of a Taco Bell.

" Change." You're kidding, I don't have any-" I feel clothes and my face collide. " Okay then." I want you to try these out.  My stylist wanted you to try these out even though you scold her even when she tries to measure you." Fine." I grumble.

My mom brought me a blue and black flannel, black tank top, Black mom-jeans, and these black boot things. She even brought a hat.

I mean its kinda cold but I'll be fine

I mean its kinda cold but I'll be fine. "Okay it's almost two so I'll go ahead and head to their house." I nod and sleep till I feel my mom shake me. "We're in the neighborhood." I sit up and look around. These houses are big, no huge.

They all look mostly the same till my mom pulls up to a driveway that leads through a bunch of trees and then this beautiful modern house that could fit almost every house close by in it.

I can't really put it into words but you can visualize it like this.
