Asher's POV

"What's wrong with you?" Armand asks carefully. "Nothing, I'm just not having a good day. I really need to make it up to Sierra," I mumble and he shakes his head. "Maybe we shouldn't do business at strip clubs," he jokes and I narrow my eyes.

"To soon?" He asks and I roll my eyes. He chuckles and slaps me on the back. "Chill dude. That girl loves you more than anything. Just quit fucking up," he says nonchalantly and I groan.

"It's not like I'm willingly trying to ruin what we have. This is the very reason I gave up drinking. I do stupid shit," I mumble and he laughs. "Dude, just calm down," he tells me. "At least she agreed to going out tonight with you. She doesn't trust you, but she's trying. Just stay doing good and everything will fall into place."

"I sure hope so dude."

I walk into my office at the gym and sigh as I take in all the paperwork from this weeks businesses. "Have you heard from them?" He asks with curious eyes and I shake my head. "No, but I have a feeling we will soon. I've been keeping up with everything in New York and there has been a lot of killings lately," I tell him and he shrugs.

"So?" He asks and I groan.

"Gang related killings," I state and his mouth forms an 'O' and I nod. "Yeah," I mumble. I begin organizing my desk when I get a phone call from an odd number. "Hello?" I question.

Nothing. Complete silence.

"Hello?" I ask again, my patience already running thin. Again, I get no response. "Do not waste my time," I growl into the phone before ending the call. I toss my phone onto the desk and rest my chin on my hands.

I start to save the files that are over crowding my desk, but I'm interrupted once again. "Asher?" That unwanted person asks. My head snaps up and I narrow my eyes at Morgan. "What do you want?" I ask in annoyance and she sighs, rubbing her belly.

My eyes follow the movement and I scoff. "It's not mine," I state in annoyance. "You do know that right?" I question and she sighs. "I know, it's actually someone else's baby," she confesses and I raise an eyebrow. "Then why did you try to pin it on me?" I ask and she looks around nervously.

"I knew who you were when I approached you in the strip club," she says quietly. "I was paid to seduce you."

"Which I failed at by the way," she adds while look back at me. "We never slept together. I made Sierra see what I was supposed to make her to see. You never cheated on her Asher," she states and I feel the hatred and anger within me rising to an unhealthy level.

"Who set you up?" I ask nastily and she cowers at my harsh tone. "I.. I can't say. He'll kill me and my baby. He knows I'm pregnant, but he doesn't know it's his. He can't know," she says in fear and I stand up slowly. "I'm sorry. I need to go," she mumbles quickly before running out of the office.

Armand walks in with raised eyebrows and curiosity on his face. "What was that about?" He asks and I look at him with an open mouth, shock still coursing through my body. "I didn't cheat. Was seduced. She confessed," I babble and he walks over to me with his brows knitted.

"Start from the beginning," he tells me and I nod, sitting back down. After I explain everything that happened, he sits there with an open mouth as well, clearly at a loss for words.

"And she didn't say who the father was?" He finally asks and I shake my head.

"No."

"She was terrified Armand. I need to tell Sierra," I mumble and I hear someone clear their throat. "No need," she says softly while stepping into the office. "I didn't like how you left and I know I called you, but I needed to see you and I'm glad I'm came," she says with sadness in her eyes.

What's with her and popping up so quietly? This damn training is making her a very deadly threat for her enemies.

"I.. Princess," I whisper and she shakes her head. "I'm sorry Asher. I'm so sorry," she mumbles, running into my arms. "I can't believe I ever doubted you," she whispers and I hug her tightly. "It's okay Sierra. Hell, even I thought I had cheated on you. We fell into whoever the hells plan this was. We were doing what they wanted," I tell her and she sighs.

"I saw her run out. She was crying and her face was pale. What the hell is actually going on?" She questions and I shrug my shoulders. "I don't know baby, but we'll figure it out. Someone around here wants us apart and they almost succeeded."

"I'm going to go back home and get dressed. Meet you back over here in an hour," she tells me before placing a kiss on my cheek. "Okay babe. Be careful," I tell her and she nods, smiling softly. "I'm packing, so don't worry," she says while patting her side.

I shake my head and chuckle. Once she's gone, Armand walks back in with a smirk on his face. "Well look at that. Everything back to normal?" He asks and I nod, my body relaxing slightly. "Me and her, Yeh. But we still need to figure out who Morgan was talking about," I state and he nods, sitting in the chair in front of the desk.

"So where do we begin?" He asks and I lick my lips. "Where it all began," I tell him. "The strip club," we say in unison, smirking at each other.

My phone goes off and I check the message. I roll my eyes and chuckle. "It's like she has a sixth sense when it comes to me and the strip club," I mumble.
