The Troubled Soul (Volume 2)

Chapter 2: Who Ayana Truly Is.

Everything was dark, not a single sound could be heard. When Josh opened his eyes, he was just floating in an empty void. No light, no sound, no ground...nothing. He looked down at himself and saw not even a scratch on him, he was perfectly fine. Was he in his dream again?

Then, out of the darkness of the void, he heard a voice. A very familiar voice as a figure appeared in front of him.

Scarlet: Hey, Josh.

Josh:...Scarlet?

Scarlet: Yeah, it's me.

He didn't know if he was happy or sad to see her. He was happy somebody was with him because he feared being alone, but was sad to see her because of what she did. Out of instinct though, he immediately wrapped his arms around her neck and hugged her tightly. One thing he knew for sure though, was that he missed her.

Josh: I'm happy to see you.

Scarlet:...Really?

Josh: Yeah, I am.

He was angry at her before for hiding the truth about himself, but that's exactly it. He "was" angry at her. Right now, he just really needed somebody. Avador then appeared next to them but didn't say anything because he didn't want to ruin their moment. When they pulled away, that's when Avador spoke up.

Avador: Hey Josh.

Josh: Hi, how do you know my name?

This made him chuckle, he should have figured Josh wouldn't know who he was. After all, he hadn't even properly introduced himself yet.

Avador: My name is Avador, and it's nice to meet you Josh. I'm one of your three Companions.

Josh: It's nice to meet you too Avador, and you look very cool with your red eyes and horns and hair and your black skin makes the red look even cooler.

Avador: Thank you.

Scarlet: Josh, we have to talk.

Then Aura appeared next to Avador.

Aura: We have to talk.

Scarlet: I just said that.

Aura: Then maybe you should have said it while I was here.

Scarlet: Then you shouldn't have taken so long in the first place.

Aura: At least I was out looking for Josh and not staying inside his head.

Scarlet: At least I wasn't wasting Josh's energy by roaming around.

Aura: Whatever lazy ass.

Scarlet: Language! We're in front of Josh!

Aura: Oh, right...sorry about that.

Avador: Can we just get to talking with him now, please? Both your bickering is hurting my head.

Aura/Scarlet: Shut it soft heart!

Avador: Hey, I do not have a soft heart!

Aura: Care to explain why you are always so nice to Josh then?

Avador: So we're asking those questions now? What about you? From what we heard the black pack Inferno Claws say, you are destruction and evil at its core. So why are you so nice to Josh then if you're sooo evil?

Aura: Oh shut up you-

Scarlet: Language again!

This made Aura growl in frustration.

Aura: Sorry.

Scarlet: It's okay, but don't cuss in front of him again.

Josh: Ahem.
