It's sharp claws cupped me cheeks, and I refused to stare at it's shining eyes. Though, I did squirm once or twice, hoping that maybe Katelyn had figured something was wrong. Unfortunately, that just wasn't happening. I was squirming, and tears pricked my eyes.
"Please.. Let me go.." I whimpered, all of my self confidence had disappeared, filled with fear and obedience.
"Not yet, Doll." His eyes started to shine red and a hole had been ripped through the ground. "I figured that you might want some chance of freedom."
"What happened?" I looked over, and there was Ally. The most beautiful girl I had ever seen, was back and she looked normal.
"Ally!" I screamed, tears threatening to fall out of my eyes. I was so happy, I couldn't contain myself. Ally noticed me, shocked, confused, and angry.
"Why was I in heaven?! What happened?!"
"You.." I started, taking a deep breath in. "You were hanged. I tried to save you, but you weren't breathing when I saved you."
"So.. You watched me suffocate?" She asked, and I shook my head. Well, to the best I could. He was still cupping my cheeks, anyways.
"No! I found out and ran all the way there." I told her, and she walked over to me, scanning my features. The problem with me was, when it came to Ally, I was a bad liar. I would always grin or chuckle when I lied, but I couldn't chuckle, nor grin. This was way to serious for lying. She nodded and slapped the demon in the face. He let go of me, and I actually fell because of it. She grabbed my arm and helped me up, before she grabbed the sword I had dropped.
"You're such a scaredy-cat, Evangelina." Ally scoffed, and I rolled my eyes.
"It's Lena, by the way."
"No." She started, a straight face on. "You're Evangelina, correct?"
"Nope." I chuckled, and she looked confused. "I used to be Evangelina. Now I'm Lena, the warrior."
"It doesn't look like it." Ally stated, and I rolled my eyes.
"Well geez, I'm only here because I wanted to bring you back."
