"Lenny?"

"Yeah, Rubes?"

"Thank you."

Lennox turned to him as they laid in bed, waiting for sleep to catch up to them after the long day they'd both had. "For what?" she asked, slightly confused.

"For spending the day with Vinni," he explained. "It meant a lot to me that you did that."

Lennox blushed slightly, rolling her eyes and playfully pushing him away. "I didn't do it for you."

"Then why did you do it?" Ruben asked as he pulled her closer and wrapped his long arms around her torso.

Lenny shrugged, finding it difficult to come up with the right words to explain it all. "I did it because Vinni has three brothers... and you guys are amazing to her, it's just that—I'm glad I can be a sister to her. I like spending time with her and if we're really going to do this whole marriage thing, then I want your siblings to be my siblings because I know how much they mean to you."

Ruben smiles at her, running his thumb across her cheek in adoration. "It's like you were made in a machine," he mumbled before pressing his lips to hers. "What about Bennett?" he asked when they pulled away.

Lenny's brows furrowed. "What about Bennett?"

"Did you tell him?" Lennox avoided his eyes then. "Lenny..."

"I don't know how to!" she defended. "Bennett's always super busy with physio stuff and we never really get a proper chance to catch up..."

Ruben sighed, pulling his fiancée closer and mumbling against her hair. "I love you, bean, but you have to tell your brother we're getting married. When was the last time you talked to him?"

"A few weeks ago. Why? When was the last time you talked to him?"

"When I was around your parents' place, asking about proposal advice a week ago. Your mum was on the phone with him when I walked in," Ruben answered. "Lotta Hi's and How are you's and little bit of catch up."

Lenny sighed, thinking about the rocky relationship herself and her brother had. They were so close when they were younger but now that they were older, each focused on their respective jobs and lives and had little time to catch up with the other. That was not to mention that Bennett worked in Manchester, which was a ways away from London.

"Ok," she decided. "Do you think I could bring him to the game on Sunday?"

Isaac, Lavinia and Ruben's mum were going with Lenny and her parents. She figured it was a good time for him to meet some of the family.

"Of course, love." He kissed her cheek and that was the end of that. They fell asleep and in the morning, Lenny rang her brother and forced him to make his way down to London for the weekend so he could meet Ruben's family and she could tell him about their engagement.

And she was completely unprepared for the emotional rollercoaster she'd endure following Bennett's arrival.
