Luna got out of her seat and came over to my desk and sat down next to me "hello Ginny how has your day been?" she said in her misty and light voice I couldn't help but smile, "it's been good thanks. How about you?" I asked trying not to stare into her silvery, blueish, grayish eyes. "it's been good, but my clothes are missing I suspect Nargles are behind it" she said half dreaming like always. "what do you think the assignment is about?" I asked just as Professor Snape banged on the table "silence". In milliseconds the room was silent that you could hear the dead breathing. Your assignment is to make an Amortentia potion as a pair it will conclude a quarter of your grade. Fail to do so and you will fail Potions class". Professor Snape said scribbling this on the board. "The recipe is in your potions books on page 259, hurry". Snape snapped. We got our books out and turned to page 259 as fast as we could. The Amortentia potion recipe was there.
Ashwinder Eggs. First, drop one ashwinder egg into your cauldron. Rose Thorns. Next, add in a handful of rose thorns. Refined Peppermint Oil. Moonstone. Stir Your Mixture. Spirals Of Steam. Mother Of Pearl.
I looked at Luna and smiled I wondered what it would smell like to her and what it would smell like to me. I went and got a cauldron and placed it in front of Luna she put in the egg and I put in the rose thorns. When the potion was finished we were told to say what we smelt. "I smell daisy's, old books and rain," Luna said smiling. "um, I smell broomsticks, grass" I looked over and Luna "and Luna's hair," I said looking down and wishing that the class would end already. "You like the smell of my hair," Luna said twirling her hair around her finger. "yeah," I said feeling my face going red again. "What does my hair smell like?" Luna asked looking directly at my eyes. "um, I don't know I can't explain it but it smells really nice" I said trying to figure out what it smelt like. "Class is over, hurry up and get to your next class," Snape said everyone stood up and left the class.
