Mordecai's Pov

I felt the drool drip down my chin as I shifted my weight on my left side only to fall off the couch. I grimaced in pain and cursed under my breath as I got up using the coffee table as support. I wiped the rheum from my eyes and let out a well needed yawn. My clothes were sticking to my skin with sweat and all I wanted to do was rip them off me.

I sighed and dragged my feet across the room to retrieve my phone to check the time. I glanced at the glowing screen then tossed it back on the tv stand. It was ten minutes to seven and still no sign of Rigby. Just great.

The living room was a hue of a light orange, little speckles of dust floating from the light of the window. The dawn was coming, lighting up the horrizon of the uncut field of brown grass so that it stood black against the sky.

I heard faint snoring from behind me and turned to see where it was coming from realizing that Rigby wasn't one to snore, he slept soundlessly beside his little mumbles during his slumber.

My eyes widened as I saw Margaret half naked in front of me. Her bra begging to slide off, and her legs hung over the arm rest. I poked her thigh and I received a groan in response as she pushed my hand away. I then shook her and her eyes shot open, starring daggers at me.

"What. Do. You. Want?" Her voice was raspy and her lipstick smudged up her cheek.

"Umm, how about telling me why you're here" I stated raking my eyes over her ounce again. She sat up scratching her mess of hair, her eyes half open.

"Are you serious? You woke me up to ask a stupid question like that?" She said venom coating her voice. I take it that she's not a morning person. She stood up letting out full yawn and stretching her arms out.

Something clicked in my brain as I remembered all that happened from last night and my throat dried. I went over everything moving from scene to scene, sniffing over it like a starved animal. I suddenly felt the need to puke my insides out.

A car pulled in the driveway and I jumped over the couch running to go see who it was. I peeked through the blinds of the window and saw that familiar mass of bronze hair. At this point my stomach was literally doing somersaults.

I turned to Margaret and picked up her clothes from off the floor, throwing it to her.

"Hurry up and put these on." I said panic rising in my voice. She looked at me questioningly, her eyebrows rising as she crossed her arms.

      "Why should I?"

"Just put the damn clothes on!" I snapped. She obeyed immediately, seeing that I wasn't in the mood to play around. She slipped on her clothes with ease just as I heard the keys jiggle in the door knob. My breathing hitched as I held my breath in quickly glancing around the room to make sure everything was in place.

The door flew open to revile a grinning Rigby. I gulped as I felt my heart smack up against my throat. A breeze moved his bronze hair in the wind as he stood in the doorway, the sun lighting his face up perfectly. There was a transparency to his skin that made me think of everything good. He then raised his eyes and looked at me for a good second and his grin grew even bigger. I felt my stomach swell with pressure of ecstasy. And I swore I could see a halo above his head.

I found myself running out of words to describe him in that moment.

"You won't believe what happened to me" Rigby said as he shut the door behind him. He seemed to be a complete ball of sunshine which was unusual seeming that he's always grumpy in the mornings.  He took his backpack off and pulled out a shit load of cash from the pocket and waved it in my face. I gawked at it, my eyes never leaving the green pieces of paper.
