Sungjae turns to look at his manager,
"What is it, hyung?"
"Surprise! I told you, right? Your birthday present, coffee maker!"
The manager replies him proudly.
"But, but,"
Sungjae is still baffled over the situation.
"I never told you that the coffee maker is a thing, right?"
The manager continues to tease him.
Hyunsik then approaches Sungjae, pulling him to join others.
"We don't expect you are this shocked, Sungjae-ya. Come here,"
He is dragged by Hyunsik to their dining room, and is still embarrassed with Sooyoung presence.
"Greet her, Sungjae-ya. Our great barista-nim, Park Sooyoung!"
Changsub teasingly introduces Sooyoung.
"Shut up, hyung! I know her already," Sungjae answers him.
"Happy birthday, Sungjae-ssi," Sooyoung shyly greets him.
"Oh, thank you, Sooyoung-ssi,"
He replies to her, but still cannot look at her eyes.
"Oooo, maknae-ah, being shy doesn't suit you!" Eunkwang suddenly feels itchy to tease him.
"Okay, boys! Stop teasing the birthday boy, let's start the party! We don't have much time,"
The manager suddenly interrupts them,
"Why so, hyung?" Asks Minhyuk.
"Our guest should go back to Gyeonggi before midnight,"
"Oh! I thought you would be back tomorrow," Changsub says.
"Sorry, but I don't have any plan to close my café tomorrow, so,"
Sungjae suddenly looks disappointed hearing that.
"Right! Come here Sungjae-ya, Sooyoung has finished her lesson, and we almost finish grinding the beans, let's make iced drip coffee!" Eunkwang says excitedly.
"WHAT? She is supposed to teach Sungjae only though," The manager shouts at them.
"Well, uhm, sorry, manager-nim. I cannot reject their eagerness to learn. After this, they all can teach Sungjae on how to make it," Sooyoung explains to him.
"Maknae-ah, why do you keep silent? You don't like our surprise?"
Sooyoung carefully is glancing to Sungjae, curious of his reaction.
"Oh, no, no! I am just still baffled with this funny situation,"
Sungjae himself doesn't know why he acted that way. It is just Park Sooyoung, yet why he looks nervous over it? They have met twice, and the last time they met, they were such in friendly mode. He asks himself why he is being conscious with her presence now.
It is not like he likes her or vice versa, how can he look more awkward toward her, than his members to her.
Sungjae is now sitting together with his hyungs, manager, looking excitedly at Sooyoung who is currently preparing the iced drip coffee for them.
"Sooyoung-ssi, do you have a boyfriend?"
Changsub is suddenly breaking the ice.
All the members and the manager widen their eyes, startled at Changsub's question.
