Time flies fast, without realizing, it is evening already.
"Mom, I think we need to go now,"
Sungjae tells his mother who is still busily chit-chatting with Sooyoung.
"Why? You both should stay overnight, here,"
"I promise Sooyoung's mother to take her home tonight, so,"
His mother looks disappointed.
Sooyoung can read her sad face,
"I am sorry, eomo-nim. If you don't mind, I will come visit you here often,"
"Sure, you should have to! You are one of us now,"
Sungjae's father tells her.
The girl is blushing listening to it.
"Sungjae's dad is right. You are our second daughter now after his noona, so I will be so happy of you come visiting us often, promise me, okay?"
Sooyung smiles at his mother warmly.
"I promise,"
When they are about to leave,
"Oh right! Wait a second! Sungjae's Mom, I think we forget something,"
His father reminds his wife.
"Oh! Wait, let me take it first,"
She then leaves them.
Sooyoung and Sungjae exchange glances, wondering what they mean.
Minutes later, his mother comes holding a pink envelope.
She hands it to Sooyoung.
The girl looks confused.
"What is it, eomo-nim?"
She asks.
"Sungjae told us that your birthday is in September. And since it is days away from it, Sungjae's father and I have prepared little gift for you,"
Sooyoung is surprised at their thoughtful gift.
She even doesn't realize that her birthday is coming in.
"What it is, Mom, Dad? How can you give her birthday present ahead of me, huh?"
The boy seems sulky at it.
Yet, inside, he is grateful that his parents really take Sooyoung as part of them.
"Because we want to win over her heart, Sungjae-ya. That is why we have prepared it,"
His mother explains to him.
"Eomo-nim, abeo-nim, this, this is too grand for me. I don't think I deserve to get this from you,"
Sooyoung is overwhelmed with the gift.
She keeps looking at the pink envelope in her hands.
"Ya! Are you crying?"
Sungjae notices her silent cry.
The girl sniffs a little, and then sends a dead glare to her boyfriend.
"Aigo, my baby is crying,"
Sungjae keeps teasing her, pinches her rosy cheek.
Both his father and mother are chuckled looking at them.
"Stop it, Sungjae-ya! Why you are ruining this moment, huh? Sooyoung-ah, don't cry, okay?"
His mother tells her assuredly.
