I woke up this morning and practically jumped out of bed. I walked to my bathroom and took a shower. When I got out I brushed my teeth and washed my face. I walked downstairs and into my kitchen. My mom made breakfast for my two sisters and I.
"Mom, Gio is going to take me to school this morning." I tell her.
"Ok that's fine. Text me when you get there." She replied.
"Ok, I will."
I ate the breakfast that my mom made. After I was finished I had a little bit of time to kill, so I scrolled through my Instagram. After a while, Gio finally texted me.

Mmk I'll be out in a minute.
I walked over to my mom and baby sister, Luna, to say my goodbyes. After I was done, I picked up my backpack and walked out to Gio's car.
"Hey leils." Gio exclaimed.
"Hey."
"Did you do it yet?" He asked me. Every time that I see him he asks me this. Gio and I hangout all the time and I tell him everything. He knows that I want to break up with Alex, but Alex won't give me the time to do it.
"No he won't even talk to me. When I try to talk to him he just walks away." I reply
"He doesn't want to be split from you. I mean I get it. I don't want to be split from you either." I blushed as Gio told me this. We have wanted to make it exclusive for a while, but I can't break up with Alex.
"Did you text him?" Gio asks
"No. You can't dump someone over text." I reply
"You might have to Leila." He says
"Yeah I know Gio. It's just hard, you know?" I reply
"You were only together for a month and a half." He says
"Either way, it's hard to break up with someone." I say
"I get it." He says
Gio pulled into the school parking lot. We got out of his car and walked into the building. I texted my mom letting her know that I got to school safely.

"Are you coming over tonight?" I ask Gio as we walk over to the corner we stand in every morning.
"Yeah." He Replied.
After the bell rung, I walked to my first class. Today was going to be super chaotic and out of the ordinary, because I was chosen to escort the new boy around. Today is the first day he was to attend, I felt bad for him though. He didn't know anybody, not even me, and he had to follow me around all day. The poor kid is probably petrified to come. I walked to my first period and put my books down on my desk, then walked over to my teacher.
"Can I run down to the office?" I asked my teacher.
"Yeah that's fine Leila." He responded.
I walked out of the classroom and into the hallway. I crossed paths with Alex on my way down to the office. I smiled at him and he pulled me off to the side of the hallway.
"I've been trying to talk to you for two weeks, but now is when you choose to talk to me?" I whisper yell at him.
"Leila look I'm sorry, I'm not even 100 percent sure how this happened. I know you're going to break up with me, that's obvious. Just show me a little mercy." He says
