The next morning when I woke up, I rushed around to get ready. I had to catch the bus this morning. I threw on an outfit as quick as I could and ran out the door. The bus was coming as soon as I walked outside. I ran to the bottom on my driveway, so i didn't miss the bus. As soon as I got on, I found Alex in a seat. I sat down next to him and smiled.
"Alex, I broke up with Gio."
Flashback
"So what's up?" She asks while laying on my bed.
"Alex. I don't know what to do about him. I love him, but I love Gio. Everything is so complicated since I broke up with Alex." I say.
After I explained the whole story to her, she looked at me in astonishment. I could tell she wanted me to get back together with Alex, I think that most people do, but how do I let Gio down easy?
"He loves you so much. You two are still couple goals!" She squeals.
"What about Gio?" I ask.
"Break up with him, I can tell you love Alex more than you love Gio." She says
"I love him. I love both of them. This isn't fair. I just want to be able to chose one of them and not have to worry about making the wrong choice." I reply.
"You need to choose who you love more. If you love Gio more, stay with Gio. If you love Alex more, get back together with him." She responds to me. "Just don't over think it and it will all end well. Just don't be so uptight, have a little bit of fun Leila." She adds while smiling at me.
"Adri?" I added
"Yeah Leila?"
"Alex, I love Alex more." I respond to her.
"I knew you did." She says smirking.
I FaceTimed Gio, to break up with him. It went smoother than expected. I just told him that I missed being friends and that's what I thought was best for us.
{end of flashback}
"Wait, you did?" Alex asks excitedly.
"Yeah, I missed you too much to let you go." I reply.
"I knew you would come back to me." He says
"Sometimes when you grow apart it strengthens your relationship." I respond while Alex pulled me into a side hug.
"I love you Leila." Alex says
"I love you more than you could ever imagine."
