After the events at the school, I had talked a bit with Scott and Stiles, seeing if we could find out more about the creature. But got nowhere with them.

After that, I had gotten myself home, still soaking wet. My mind went back to the pool, the creature was like a shape-shifter but it wasn't normal. The word I gave to Derek to describe the creature was heartbreaking, the word was like a bomb to me, with the right context it could make me angry or cry.

I had reached the street with my house on, as I was deep in thought on the way home. Maybe we could find out more about the Kanima. Maybe I had some old books that could be mentioned in. But there were a lot of books that I collected over the centuries, so it will take some time. I arrived outside my house moments later, to be greeted with none other than Mr Hale, standing at the front door, his back lent against the material of the door. I rolled my eyes, and let out a sigh, not really wanting to deal with him right now.

"What do you want?" My voice carried through the night air, my tone dry and effortless. I stood in front of him, inches away, as he lent up from leaning.

"Took me awhile, but I know what you are," Derek replied, as he took a long stare at me, waiting for me to break and tell him.

"Took you long enough," I replied sarcastically, folding my arms over my chest, my clothes still wet.

"But Witches were always stories my Mother told me and I thought they were a myth," Derek sounded so sure that Witches were just a myth.

"I feel very much real," I gave him a smirk, with a slight chuckle, my arms still folded. "All myths have a foundation Derek," I had now unfolded my arms, as they dangled freely at the side. "If that's all," I walked forward, moving Derek out of the way. "Goodnight," I placed my hand on the door knob, but Derek's hand grabbed my shoulder making me spin around to face him. His face was inches from mine, his warm breath tingle down my neck, making a few hairs stand on point.

His green eyes stared into mine, checking them over, my heart began to race ever so slightly with his intent gaze. His beard was stubble as it looked like he trimmed it. "How did you survive?" He finally asked, and I knew what he meant straight away. My eyes never left his, as they looked desperate for me to answer.

"A resurrection spell," I replied automatically, like I was compelled to answer his question. Maybe it was just his intent gazing that did it, or deep down, I didn't want to lie to him anymore. Derek didn't say a word as he was processing what I just gave him. His grip on my arm became loose, his gaze never broke, as he let go of my arm.

Without another word, Derek turned and left, leaving me to ponder what the hell just happened. I watched him go, there was something different about him when he's around me. I don't know how to describe it. I shook my head, getting the thought out, before turning on my heels and entering the house.

Hopefully, I could learn something about the Kanima...

........................................................

Book after book, I could only find small amounts about the Kanima, that I didn't even think were real. A were-jaguar from South America. That creature is defo not a were-jaguar, more of a reptilian.

I walk the halls of the high school, busy as usual with horny teens. Sometimes you could just smell it. I walk with my notepad, pen and economic book in my hands, pressed against my chest as I walk. I see Scott and Stiles exit a classroom together, in perfect timing for me to walk next to Stiles.

"All right, I only found one thing online called the Kanima," Stiles states as he walks down the hall with Scott and I.

"Is it a were-jaguar? From South America?" I asked, as they both turned to look at me, Scott had no clue and Stiles was slightly shocked. And by his expression, I was right.
