Who am I?

I didn't even know who I reincarnated as. When I opened my eyes I was surrounded by people all dressed up. None of these faces I recognized. Was I reincarnated as a side character? That would be a blessing to have than having a main role. Oh god, I hope I was reincarnated as someone unimportant.

It seemed that the previous owner fell asleep on a bench in a garden. I ranked my head for any scenes that held a party, but almost all otome games that I played had parties in them. I really didn't want to get up and find out what game I was in, but in this situation, I had no choice.

I made my way into the party and instantly I knew my wish had been granted. Since nobody paid any mind to me, that meant I was had an unimportant role. I  mentally high-fived myself. "Evita," someone called but I ignored them not knowing who the person they were calling was. But then my shoulder was grasped. "Did you not hear me call for you?" The beautiful female said in a sneer. I pointed to myself in confusion. Was my name Evita? I don't remember any character with this name. As I was thinking I was also being dragged somewhere. "Amaya, is throwing a tantrum," the beautiful woman said while looking a bit scared. "Amaya?" I asked out loud and she didn't answer back. That name sounded a bit familiar but I couldn't put my finger on it as I continued letting myself get dragged. As I was being dragged I saw the most fluffy curly looking hair. I had a weak spot for fluffy soft things. I wanted to get a closer look at it but I was being dragged away.

Here I was. Standing in front of the girl named Amaya. Now I knew what game I was in. Her appearance was unforgettable. I don't remember the name of the game but I knew it was one out of many that pissed me off. In the game, the heroine was a heroine/villain. One of those who pretended to be all sweet *cringe* but in the shadows they were actually evil, using whatever means to get what they want, and this was who Amaya was. She was smart and never left any evidence behind, even if there was something left behind she would blame and frame it on someone else using her "innocent" side *cringe*. Meaning there were two villainesses in the game. I wonder if I'll get to meet the other one soon.

I now knew which character I was. I was the cousin of Amaya. If I remember correctly, this would probably be the only scene that I appeared in before I got housebound for what I did for Amaya. I was a timid character, meaning I was bullied a lot by Amaya and did all her dirty work.

As her mouth was moving I didn't hear anything. Instead, I stared at her while my mind was thinking about what happens in the game. The reason why I grew frustrated with the game was because of her character overall. In otome games, they have the voice over thing and her voice was just annoying. It sounded so childish and she would always talk in that sweet voice to fool everybody. The storyline was actually quite interesting so I just turned off my volume whenever playing it. Also, whenever she was trying to act weak in front of everyone I would cringe by her stupidness, who gets a bruise from being bumped into lightly? I shivered just thinking about her voice and her stupidity but then I noticed she was right in front of me and she kept staring at me. So I just stared back trying to figure out what she had said. Repeat what you said into my mind, I said mentally seeing if it'll get through to her. But she just had a scowl on her face. "Stop staring at me like a freak and get going," she yelled but I just gave her a confused face. What was I supposed to do? I was pushed out of the room before I could ask anybody. I tried remembering what happened in the game but all I could think about was the characters and if I was going to bump to any of them. Well since nobody is following me I guess it wasn't anything important. I made my way back to the ballroom and was going to look for that fluffy head of hair but got distracted by the cute desserts but still kept my eyes out for that head of fluffy hair.

Just as I was about to finish my 4th plate of the desserts the same girl who dragged me to the room came bursting through the party in distress. "Someone, please come and help. Ms. Amaya has been hurt while trying to stop her cousin from attacking the young lady from the Galan household," people followed her out either worried or rushing to see the action. Wow, I didn't know Amaya had other cousins here. I forgot about it as I caught sight of a cake that was just laid out.
