Three days since the party a messenger was waiting in the living room of the Clover household. The messenger wasn't just any messenger, he was somebody sent by the King and so everybody in the manor greeted him. "The King has decided to annihilate the marriage between the 4th prince and Miss. Amaya Clover." Handing the letter to the master of the household he left. The Clover family was left stunned.

They had heard what happened at the party but since they left their daughter to attend in their absence they could only listen to whispers and what their daughter had told them when she arrived back. They thought nobody would believe the lying bitch but who knew it was going to go to this extent.

Seeing their daughter's tearful face they immediately severed their connection with the Oshell manor. A girl's reputation was everything and their daughter's was ruined by some made up lies. It also didn't help that there were evidence of what the lying bitch said. The Clovers could only think that the Oshell had planned everything. But the Clover parents were too doting on their daughter, they overlooked everything and deemed her the best out of everybody.

But this news was too much to handle. The mistress has fainted, while the master silently went back into his study. Amaya was left crying in anger in her room causing a disaster. She had vowed to end the life of her cousin.

On the other hand, the Oshell household was no different from every other day. Evita's parents didn't ground her for what she did, instead they were proud that their daughter was coming out of her timid state. They saw how the Clover's daughter treated her but they couldn't do anything since they had a higher standing than them, but now that their connection has been severed they won't have to ever see them again, hopefully.

The master of the Oshell household was the happiest. Although, they'll lose a strong connection it wasn't like the Clover household was going to come to their rescue if they had a massacre anyway. He only withstood them for his wife. His wife was the younger sister of the Clover mistress. His wife has been treated like a maid by her since they were little and every time they would have to go visit she was always left out of the ladies' gathering. His wife was a kind one, that was probably where their daughter got it from but he could never blame her, she was his one and only love.

On the other hand. Although he was happy that his daughter defended herself, she seemed to have changed. He didn't know if it was a good change or a bad change, but he didn't say anything as she looked happy now instead of being fearful of everything.

For the past three days Evita has been lazing around. Currently she was outside laying on a chair with a umbrella above her to give her shade. Her maids have told her many times that her skin was going to turn dark from staying outside for too long but she didn't listen and wanted to enjoy the nice breeze.

She ate nuts with her eyes closed and let her mind wander free. Currently she was thinking if she were to take on a part-time job would she be able to earn her own money to buy snacks. Then she thought about the cake that she had at the party. The servant besides her could hear her stomach grumble. How was it possible when the young miss had just ate an hour ago? And it wasn't a light meal, it was 3 times more than what she usually ate. "I should've token more of that cake," Evita was scolding herself, but the servant beside her was in disbelief. Everybody heard what happened and thought the master and mistress would scold her but instead they scolded her for being unproper and sneaking food into her pouch then bringing it home to eat. So they tried confiscating it but who knew the young miss would stuff it all into her mouth. She practically choked on the food. She was later sent to her room to reflect with no dinner that night. But her cries could be heard throughout the house about being hungry when there were obviously snacks in her room. When the mistress went to check on her she was actually laying on her bed in tears while eating a cookie. When she thought her daughter hasn't reflected at all she saw the papers on her table all filled out. "Mother, I'm going to die of starvation." everybody could only look at her in disbelief, who would believe that as she was eating a cookie? This was beyond shameless. Everybody didn't know what to say but the mistress could only give in to her daughter seeing that she had done her punishment. Food was later brought to her room and the she finished everything in one breath, she was like a vacuum. Every since that party she seemed to be someone else.

That evening the same messenger that was at the Clover manor arrived at the Oshell manor, and again everybody greeted him, except for one person who they had to make an excuse for. "The Queen has bestowed a marriage between Miss. Evita Oshwell and the 4th prince. Please come and receive the letter." Master Oshwell took the letter with trembling hands and sent the man off on his way. They never thought a day like this would arrive. They knew the queen was grateful to his wife's side of the family but they also knew they would be in the shadows since the Clovers were of great standing, but their daughter being bestowed a marriage with the 4th prince was never a thought they had in mind.

When Evita heard the news she was calm so everybody thought she was just being proper, but after she was left in her room she turned frantic.

I had just arrived in this world and I was going to get married?!

Isn't that the job of the heroine, a.k.a Amaya? If I knew this was going to happen I wouldn't have minded a few food being sacrificed. I need to get out of here!

Evita started packing a small bundle. You would think she'd put the things she would need to survive, like money, but that wasn't the case. All she packed was food.

She couldn't leave by the entrance since they would obviously catch her so her only option was to go through the window, which her room was not near the ground. But she'll do what she had to to get out of this mess.  I don't want to get married!
